Stone Source sent someone to template the counters and he took our sink with him in order to mark and cut out the under-mount sink opening in the counter. He returned about a week later to do the installation. The stone was cut to fit and the sink opening was cut out. When the installation was competed he pointed out that the sink was slightly off center. It was slightly more to the front, but it was all under the stone so you could not really see it and we were ok with what we saw. What he neglected to tell us was that the sink was not secured with the clips provided with the sink for that purpose. The sink was put in place with a few dabs of silicone. The reason he had to do that was that the sink opening was not properly located and he did not allow sufficient room for plumbing fixtures. Within a few days after installation the sink dropped and is now being held up by the cabinet below. We have to be very careful about using the sink because water splashes into the opening between the counter and the sink. We discovered that the sink had detached from the counter on April 8. We have been trying to get them back to fix the problem but have not had any luck yet. Today is April 13. We have been promised visits every day and still no one shows up. We speak with the company several times a day and all we get are promises of support, but nothing happens and no one shows up to repair the problem.
