The interaction was great. He picked up the phone on first phone call and we made an appointment. Came down from WPB to Boca; assessed and ordered parts. Approximately 1 week later it was fixed. Thank you, Steve! While the $750 seems like a lot... think about it. Drive time 4 ways, parts, expert knowledge and it's fixed right the first time. Can't beat that!

Phenomenal!!! My Grandfather Clock has been in our Family for generations. I was extremely nervous to have anyone even touch it!!! However, when it started to loose time I new it had to have a service & cleaning... I had inquired with several companies, and some didn't even respond (not surprisingly in South Florida)!!! I felt totally comfortable on the phone with Steven Sarafian with Palm Beach Clock Repair (who answered his phone immediately), and he made me feel extremely comfortable putting any concerns of mine regarding my clock at ease. I immediately booked a service appointment with him, and showed up on time!! He wore white gloves, & he and his partner were so careful, knowledgeable, courteous, and extremely patient with me, and all of my questions regarding care and working of our Grandfather Clock. I was so relieved that I contacted this company out of many, and I wouldn't hesitate to refer them to many clients of mine in the future!! I was very pleased to find and hire Palm Beach Clock Repair to effect repairs on our Grandfather clock. I found them on Angie's List, read the reviews and called for an appointment. I spoke with Steven, who, lucky for me, offered a time later that same day. He and Jim arrived right about the time we planned so I was happy with their punctuality. They were very friendly, courteous and efficient. Jim took the clock apart and then Steven proceeded to examine, clean and service the mechanism of the clock. Once cleaned, it was reassembled perfectly and they left with it in perfect working order, cleaning up their work space once finished. As they worked, we chatted pleasantly like new friends.They did a good job for a fair price and I got my grandfather's Grandfather clock working again. Yes, I recommend this company!

He showed up in dirty, messy, torn clothes. It was very unprofessional. He proceeded to start working on the clock with no cotton gloves on, which is a big deal due to the oils from your fingers affecting the clock. He took a syringe and oiled several screws in the clock. He was supposed to be doing a regular check up on the clock. We had expressed an issue with the clock running too fast or too slow. He did not do the service we had requested. He used a paper towel to dust the clock off, once again, not using the proper cotton that is recommended for a grandfather clock. He then proceeded to charge us $125 for the service, without actually doing the service that we requested! The price was way too high for the work he did in a matter of 15-20 minutes. He did a lot of talking and looking around, commenting on the home decor. He was friendly, but lack of professionalism and quality were present.

"They requested a just and oiling and time adjustment and did not want a full service ! which has additional cost.!. To protect the brass we use clean fresh paper towels instead of gloves because they get dirty after a while. . I always dress professionally and never wear torn clothes. I am embarrassed I have to explain this."

I paid him for a new clock and the clock he gave me does not work. I have tried calling him multiple times he keeps saying he is going to replace it and he has yet to do so. I would not recommend this company.

"I do not sell clocks. This customer had called me service his grandfather clock, his ships clock, a mantle clock and and outdoor clock. As well as a battery operated anniversary clock, he referred to as a dome clock.. I was able to repair all but the anniversary clock,it was beyond repair. At his request I purchased an antique anniversary clock for him (Circa 1950) . I serviced and checked the clock for proper operation and delivered it in May. Several weeks later he called me to tell me the clock was not working, I went by, found that it had been moved and was no longer running. I re-leveled it in the new location (The Bathroom). I suggested that he find a different location for the clock as this was a placement too prone to being bumped. He called me around the first week of September and indicated that the clock had stopped again. He asked me at that point to replace the clock. While I had purchased the clock at his request I am willing to work with him to find a solution he threatened to give me a bad review on Angies List if I did not resolve it immediately. I am willing to work to resolve this issue, rather then be blackmailed on a public site such as this. Lets find an amicable solution."

Our grandfather clock consistently ran slow and no amount of adjusting the pendulum would correct it. Steve (the owner) came over to my house and professionally cleaned the clock (it hadn't been cleaned in 8 years) and adjusted it. However, it still ran slow. Steve came by for further adjustments and it still ran slow. He came out a third time and re-built the pendulum at my home and now the clock works great. He never charged me beyond the initial cleaning and adjustment charge. I would recommend him for your grandfather clock. He was professional and persistent in fixing the problem.
