Mark and Ben started the job on 2/10/14. They chipped away all of the thin set from the previous tile job and then leveled the floor of the area in order to start the job right. This did cost extra, but was well worth the knowledge that the tile was set correctly this time. Previous tiler just set the tiles with thick amounts of thin set, which resulted in the tiles lifting from the floor.
While Mark and Ben were working on the thin set removal, one of my indoor cats got out. They helped us corral the little kitty and get him back into the house. Much appreciate that.
Although Mark did work on the job initially, leveled the floor and laid out the job, Ben was the one who laid the tile. He did a fantastic job and even did some work that makes the floor stand out from a typical job.
This is the second time that I've used them (they did my living room and dining room). If I had more rooms that needed tile work, I would definitely use them again.
