They took it all apart and decided it was not worth repairing.  They did not charge me for doing so.  I highly recommend them.

They were very nice people. They don't repair watches in house, they ship them out.

Because of the sentimental and monetary value of my gold and diamond anniversary ring, I needed to find a skilled jeweler to enlarge the ring which had become too tight to wear. The stones are channel set so it could not be stretched to fit but rather, required cutting the band and soldering in a small piece of gold to enlarge the ring diameter. I wanted the work to be done expertly, on premises, at a fair price and at a local establishment,if possible.

I found Jupiter Jewelry on Angie's list and decided to try them because of the positive reviews. Their salesperson, Brooke, was so friendly and knowledgeable that we felt comfortable entrusting the work to this company. She explained that the work would be done on site by their expert craftsmen and the ring would be ready the next day! She carefully determined the correct size and said that the charge would be sixty dollars....very fair for expert service and fast turnaround time.
The ring was ready as promised and when I went to pick it up, it fit perfectly and had no visible evidence that it had been worked on. In fact, it was shinier and more beautiful than it had looked in years!

My wife and I are extremely happy with Jupiter Jewelry. You can't beat their price for replacement of watch batteries which is only about $5 or $6. I used to get batteries replaced at.Sears where I got poor service, long waits, and paid at least $12.

Also, my wife brought in an anklet to Jupiter Jewelry to have the clasp replaced. They said it actually only needed to be cleaned. They cleaned it and didn't charge us a penny.
