We’ve been working with Jupiter Aluminum since we moved to Florida about 10 years ago. We’ve purchased a front screen door, hurricane shutters for our rear sliding doors, rear screen doors, hurricane windows. Jupiter Aluminum has filled all our window and door needs and continues to maintain everything. I’m so grateful to Mark and his team for always being there for us. Thank you so much!! ?

If you ignore your customers, they'll go away! RUN don't walk away from this company. Poor communication, poor install. One neighbour had to contact our Town Hall to get this company to complete their work on her home. They do not return calls, and yell at you when you follow-up from another no-call. Shoddy workmanship. Rude office staff.

1. Installation was done in 8/2018. Initial communication of lead time was good and adhered to. 2. Installation failed code twice due to poor install(improperly nailed and/or not nailed appropriately to frame) - Town had to come out 2x to verify install and shortcomings were addressed. Project Manager would show up at house and knock on door unannounced(I wasn't there but come to find out he was there expecting to find me there during day middle of week). This happened multiple times. 3. 11 months later, experienced significant water damage above sliding doors leading out to patio and entry door. Source of issue was determined that at installation time, Jupiter Aluminum crew DID NOT SEAL / CAULK at installation time. 4. Upon being notified, project manager came out to rectify one set of sliding doors where primary damage occurred, but didn't check the rest of the installation. 5. I spoke with owner to let him know that the other doors and entry door were not caulked, who then proceeded to say, "my crew has been doing installs for 30+ years - you tellin' me they didn't caulk the windows". Then goes on to say he spoke with his project manager, who I then contradicted and said, "are you calling my guy a liar?" In the end, the window, door and sliding doors were caulked. The damage occured within the 12 month warranty AND it was verified by a 3rd party the installation was faulty - never sealed. My insurance company subrogated against Jupiter Aluminum's commercial policy and Jupiter Aluminum has ignored and/or refused to respond or communicated, ultimately sending the claim and subsequent reimbursements to collections. The windows and doors are excellent but the installation and subsequent response and lack of accountability on behalf of Jupiter Aluminum is my sole issue. Pricing was consistent with others in market but I would not recommend using them for installation. I've reached out to manufacturer as well to make them aware of what happened since it's not their fault but their distributor/installer could potentially affect their reputation for no good reason.

Meh. My sales guy was rude and kept adding costs to windows already included. Very shady business. I would never use again. What a nightmare.

The work was not done. We wanted decorative shutters, not hurricane shutters because we already have hurricane glass on those windows. They said that they could do that, and we gave them a deposit. It took several months for them to determine that they could not do anything but hurrican-rated shutters, at a much higher price. Martin County would not allow them to install any decorative shutters without documentation that they would not become a missle hazard. It took too long for them to figure out what they could do. We got our deposit back, but it was unpleasant.

I received several estimates but this company had the best quality shutters. Everyone was very nice and professional . They installed my shutters in less time than expected. I would recomend them to everyone.

This is the 4th time I have used Jupiter Aluminum for a project. Past projects have involved installation of aluminum panels for all house openings, replacement of double and triple sliding doors with upgraded products and french doors, and changing from panels to accordion shutters. The most recent project involved installation of accordions and I am very satisfied with the whole process. Mike did the initial estimate and work order promptly on time as scheduled, and Heather in the front office was very helpful in assisting me with process of dealing with HOA requirements and permitting. The installers were proficient in the installation including clean up, and the accordion shutters are a thing of beauty (compared to the old panels). I highly recommend this company.

Fairly well. The owner needs to improve his attitude. He is rushed, curt and not particularly friendly.

High quality work. We had pool and deck work done but the work was delayed due to some problems with the pool contractor. Jupiter Aluminum was very patient. They had the shutters ready to install and had to wait over one month to complete the job due to the delay caused by the other contractor. I really appreciate how they worked with us on this. When they were able to schedule the job, they showed up on time, did great work and we are extremely happy with the quality of the product and the work.

The work lasted three days and we were warned that there would be a lot of dust. With their warning we spent money on drop cloths over all furniture and art which greatly helped when it was time for clean up. Our home required 5 sliding glass doors, four windows and two doors. The staff were polite and professional and cleaned up after themselves each day.
We immediately noticed that outside noise was reduced to almost nothing with these new windows. We are looking forward to seeing our electric/AC bills reduced also.

Jupiter Aluminum Products gave us a price that was better than their competitors. Along with the price, we went with Jupiter Alum because of how long they have been in business which was also another important consideration for us. (I had hurricane shutters installed on our previous residence several years ago and that company has since gone out of business.) I was also concerned about how long it would take to complete the job as I've heard from others who did have to wait an unreasonable amount of time for the job to be started and then completed. Jupiter Alum exceeded our expectation In every category of importance. Our neighbor mentioned that they were thinking of accordion shutters and I recommended Jupiter Alum without any reservation.

I have used Jupiter Aluminum three (3) times over the past eleven (11) years. They first installed hurricane panels, then ten years later Bahama shutters (hurricane rated) and a last year a hurricane rated walk-through garage door. They were always prompt, very professional and just great to work with. I have recommended them to several neighbors and friends (they also had good experiences with Jupiter Aluminum) and I will continue to do so.

Initially, they tried to install shutters that did not match blueprints. They had never been certified.
Workers damaged porcelain floor tiles by using wrong tools to drill through tiles. (Large holes and cracked tiles.)
Workers left lighting fixtures hanging loose, which no longer fit after shutters were installed.
Shutters were installed loosely , which make loud noises with even light winds.
Sill plates not flush to wall because of poorly installed anchors. (Used caulking to cover mistakes.)
Did not use caulking where needed, causing water penetration into apartment.
Locking handle broke during first use.
Other locking mechanisms seized.

Rep. nearly broke down front door, screaming threats and demanding final payment before work was completed!

Complained to Better Business Bureau, but they did nothing but send one email, then closed case.
