Initially they were fine but the services got progressively worse over time. They would skip services and particularly our hedge was neglected routinely. The promise was to trim it once a month. In reality it was done more like once every 2-3 months making it look badly overgrown and ugly most of the time. Over the last 2 years I made about a dozen complaints and reminders to stick to promised service schedule, it was getting burdensome. After last complaint WE were simply ditched! They said that they do not want to serve disrespectful customers who complain all the time. This is their bar for the customer service. In fairness, when they did the work it was OK, a bit messy but up to a standard, so no complaints here. In a nutshell: it is a mediocre company service wise with lots of attitude and poor customer service ethics.

they were good at cutting grass. They fell short on trimming hedges and weeding beds. I ended up doing that myself. After two meetings with supervisors their attention to detail did not improve and I had to fire them.

"(removed member name) has been a valued customer for over 10 years. We're sorry to hear the issues she has listed and hope to address each one satisfactorily. First, it is true that some of our crew members change each Winter and Summer schedule, as we have 1/3 less employees during Winter months than in Summer and have to hire new employees with each season change. Unfortunately, it is nearly impossible to maintain the exact crew at each property throughout the year. However, we maintain route sheets for each property with any special notes or requests made by the homeowner to avoid any lapse in quality of service. As far as the fuel surcharge is concerned, it is an unavoidable charge that we've informed each customer about since it's start over 12 years ago. The surcharge does fluctuate with fuel costs and has been as low as $3 and as high as $15. (removed member name) takes advantage of one of our many options to help relieve the cost and pays no more than $5 each month for the surcharge. (removed member name) has mentioned that she signed up for our quarterly irrigation package and was dissatisfied with our response time. This is truly an isolated incident and usually would only happen if we run into South Florida rainy season and are unable to stay on schedule.However, if it was on ongoing concern, we have Supervisors available to visit the homeowner and make sure the problem is resolved. We are equally sad that after being such a long time, loyal customer that it's gotten to the point where (removed member name) feels she has to shop around for someone new. We are hoping that answering the concerns will help resolve some of the issues she is facing and that she decides to stay with us."

. The crew that does our property are very fast, efficient, and pleasant. The office staff are tops as well.
We are out of state much of the time. It doesn't matter if we are here or not...the yard ALWAYS looks great when we return. Front AND back! Also the crew that comes will let the office know if anything is happening with the yard while we are away....for instance if an area of grass is too dry. The office will call us to let us know and suggest we have them do a 'sprinkler check' (which for us is an additional charge but they offer a quarterly sprinkler check plan). They also have a "Quality Control Inspector" who visits the property regularly after the crew has done their work to ensure Horizon's high standards are being met.
We are EXTREMELY happy with the service they provide. We Highly recommend them!!

My sprinkler system wasn't doing the job and I asked for an inspection of the system and for suggestions. Horizon suggested changing the placement of some sprinklers and the type of heads of others. I authorized them to do so and have been happy with the results. Another company told me that I needed a whole new systerm. I will turn to Horizon again for any irrigation issues.

Horizon has saved our yard! After going through a couple of so-so landscaper/yard maintenance companies, I am so THRILLED to have found Horizon! They do our weekly maintenance, as well as, landscaping, fertilizing and sprinkler care. One stop shopping with the most professional customer service EVER. They are family owned and operated. Again, I cannot stress how attentive they are to customer service...I get follow-up calls and supervisors stopping by to make sure the job is done right and we are so very happy. And we are NOT a large account!! Try them, you and your lawn will be thrilled you did!

They are great. They are a little pricey but you get more than what you pay for. They are very highly professional people. They come right away when you need them for something. The approximate cost listed is what you pay per month. In addition there is a quarterly care package for $120 which includes fertilizing, fixing things that are wrong, patching things, taking care of your sprinkler system, etc. Anything that you can imagine that you need taken care of on your lawn is covered in the care package.
