The original installation was done so badly, they had to come back and re do it, damaging some of the wood during the removal.  Then they failed to remove the glue properly.  Finally, after I involved Angie's List, they came back and did a reasonably good job removing much of the glue -- apparently some had been on too long to be removed.  This project took the better part of 4 weeks because of their delays and prevarication.  It should have taken less than 4 days.
