Rusty did his usual excellent job.  The job required stripping, sanding, staining, and refinishing.  It took a while to get on his calendar, but once we did the job got done in the minimum number of visits (a professional won't try to strip, sand and stain in one day).  The doors now look like new, and we have set up a schedule for him to come back annually to avoid having to go to the extremes we went to this time.

This was the only company that we found that was able to customize a front door to our satisfaction. We did not want a full glass impact door and we had a difficult time finding a modern looking design with limited impact glass. We saw an advertisement in a home improvement magazine, checked out the website, found a design we liked, researched the company, visited the showroom, discussed different designs and glass styles and signed a contract. The company was professional in every aspect, specifically by delivering and installing our door on time and as ordered. The door passed inspection and the inspector said it was a good job. If anyone reading this review is in the market for a new front door, please check out the Custom Door Shop, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Custom Door Shop! We love our new double front door!

After measurements, drawings, and negotiations, I signed a contract on April 13, 2013 and had delivery, installation and all permit inspections completed on May 16, 2013 (4 weeks from start to finish.) The Installer, John Botelle, is truly a Master at his profession.

The owner of Custom Door Shop told us when we bought our doors that they would come out if anything was wrong with the doors.
The lock and handle was getting loose and so we called them and they came out to the house and fixed the problem very quickly.

We were in need of a new front door and had heard positive reviews about Custom Door Shop. We went intot their Jupiter location and fell in love with their beautiful wood doors. I worked personally with Chuck and had a great experience with him. My husband and I were interested in the solid shell brazilian mahogany doors. Chuck priced the entire job for me, including finishing and install. Custom Door Shop had beautiful products and were the only ones who could do the entire job for us. We went ahead with them. They met the timeline for install and the installation itself was fantastic. I was amazed on how new front doors can improve the look of my house so much. Thank you Custom Door Shop and I will continue passing your name.

The unit they provided was not impact rated and infact blew open within the first week and the door stop punctured the door panel. Custom Door did not stand behind their product, and even though we agreed to pay them to repair the door they have still not even done that. The quality of this door is so poor that I am sure we will be replacing it again in the near future.

"We installed an Impact Rated Plastpro Door. All fiberglass doors are built with a thin fiberglass shell with a composite/wood internal frame as well as insulation. The door blew open by a heavy gust of wind and the door smashed into the door stop causing damage to the fiberglass shell. We have set an appointment to repair the door for our customer."

Everything beginning with my initial visit to their showroom, the on site estimate and the eventual installation went without a hitch. This is the only company within a 30 mile radius that was able to provide complete services including ordering the correct doors, painting them and then installing them. All other sources could either sell me the doors, paint them or install them but not all three. I selected this company due to the range of services offered and the lack of qualified or capable competition, therefore, I am unable to comment on the appropriateness of the price.
