In my opinion, anybody who uses this man for any service is just looking for trouble. I have found him to be completely dishonest.

Perry Lap ruined many things for me. My advice would be to stay VERY far away from him and guard your wallet. He has hurt many people. In my opinion it would be hard to find a more dishonest person.

It went very badly. I felt cheated and robbed. I am still having problems from subs he hired, including multiple roof leaks. I would never hire him again. I do not trust him. I could never recommend him to anyone, and there are plenty of people who would say he same thing.
Description of Work: Perry Lap was hired to build my house through his company Mastercraft Services.

Inspection went smoothly, inspector raved about the wonderful home we were purchasing. However, at the inspection it was noted that he was an old friend of the seller. He did roof inspection from the ground on a flat roof. Six months later we were in the process of selling the home and another inspector for the new buyer found mold, leaky roof and rotten boards. We had to hire a contractor to fix all and had to pay $10,000.00!

Perry Lap is a great home inspector and this is the second time I've used his services. He is very thorough and explains both the potential problems or issues that need to be resolved with your property and any positive issues he notes during the inspection.
