Came and laid the mulch for the deal that was purchased
provided 35 bags of mulch and laid it for 200.00, which came out to 5.71 a bag. Was only enough for the front yard. Told me that he would provide additional bags at 4.00 a bag. So where was the deal for 200.00.
35 x 4 = 140.00

What I like most about Chris and his company is the responsiveness. Call or text his cell phone, you always get a prompt reply. Need something offbeat? No problem. One day they brought in fill for me and helped solve an erosion issue in the back of the house due to storm water runoff. Then they brought in and laid down sod. Most companies want to just cut the grass and be gone. Broedell's will help with any yard needs at all, just let Chris know.
Finally, you might think this is odd, but I really like the convenience of their billing and payment system. Most yard companies aren't very adaptable - they want cash or a check as soon as they finish a cut. You will have to always be there, have the cash, or keep mailing checks. Broedell's uses an online system where they email you a link once a month and you pay securely through their accounting software using a credit card. You don't need to be home to hand them cash, or worry about having to write out checks and mailing them. Sounds like a little thing, but it VERY convenient.
I have had issues with yard companies in the past, adding on "trip fees" or "rain out fees" or only mowing half the yard because of rain, then wanting the full price, and not mowing the other half as soon as it is dry. Broedell's is definitely not like that. They do the whole job, show up when they say they will, handle problems and extra work professionally, and don't make excuses and try to squeeze you for extra fees.
