After waiting half a day for the company to show up as per appointment, I received a call from the company advising me that their electricians would not be able to come until the following day. When they did show up the next day, the first thing they did was install the recessed ceiling light; unfortunately, despite my prior instructions to the company regarding the preferred color scheme, the recessed light installed proved to be the wrong color. The appropriately colored fixture was replaced later that day as were the two wall switches. I subsequently received an invoice for the work performed which struck me as excessive. I checked with an independent electrician thereafter and was advised that given the scope of the work done I had been overcharged approximately $120.00, if not more.

Work agreed to be done on the side light, the technician ignored it and left, the office turned on the denial machine., then wanted to charge another $125 to come out to do simple, 2-minute job that they did not finish in the first place. Despite calling numerous times and promises of the owner to "get back" to me, no-one bothered to fix this.

"Mr. [Member Name Removed], I’m sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with our company, but the work that you originally requested was completed ( replaced 1- owner supplied under cabinet light fixture and a bad GFCI receptacle ) and we have the invoice with a copy of the check you paid us with and your signature stating work has been satisfactorily completed. You did ask our technician to look at a outdoor flood light fixture that wasn’t working, which he did and told you it was bad and needed to be replaced. He also told you to give us a call when you get a new fixture and we can install it for you, but it will be an additional charge for us to come back to install it. You did call back for us to install your new fixture, but you felt that you shouldn’t have to pay a service call fee for us to install your replacement fixture. I’m sorry, but we can not send a service truck to provide a service for you and in return not get compensated for it. Once again we are truly sorry you weren’t satisfied with us, but we did complete the service you did request."

Bill and Dennis arrived on time and got right to work installing a bathroom vent fan to replace an old one. They performed the work without an issue and cleaned up the work area nicely.
As an aside: several months ago, a different electrician was at my home working on another project. I asked for an estimate to replace the same bath vent fan and was quoted at least $350 because of the amount of work to go into the attic and cut a new place in the ceiling. They were supposed to follow-up, never did, and I didn't call them.
Glad I didn't call them, because the install wasn't as big of a deal as they led me to believe. I have another project to complete with my landscape lighting and will definitely ask for Bill and Dennis to work on that as well. I have found a reliable electrician.

The office called to move the appointment to the next day, which was not a problem for me. They came the next day, and were able to complete most of the work. Whatever could not be completed (I had to leave for an appointment), they came back and finished as scheduled. They were very knowledgeable and professional.

Called on a Tuesday and rep said they could come out the following Monday, I wanted sooner but ok. She called the next morning saying she may be able to fit me in later in the day, which ended up happening (so they were here with in in 24 hours) They were courteous, timely and polite. Rick also explained and showed to me what they did. I gave a B on price because I thought the parts were a little pricey, but more than likely out of their control. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them to friends.

Called in the morning and they were there within an hour. Went right to work and fixed the outlet. Very professional and polite. They cleaned up after themselves. We will use Bill Gilbert as our professional electrician from now on.

I contacted Bill Gilbert initially because of a problem with an outlet in the kitchen. The serviceman traced the problem to my breaker box which was about 40 years old. I had noticed "sizzling" sounds from the box due to bad connectivity and I had also experienced flickering lights in the house. He indicated I needed a new breaker box and this came as no surprise to me. So they provided me an estimate and we scheduled the job. They arrived right on time and spent most of the day on the job. When completed they even cleaned up my garage of debris. I was very happy with the service.
