Bates Exterminating

They worked extremely the first time to get rid of the ants and they advised me to allow some time to let the application take place. Apparently, I still have fire ants coming in, so they came two weeks after and finally, the second application worked. It was a terrible experience with the ants but their service was really good. And they did not charge me for the second application. I just can't say enough good things about them./

I am very happy with the service I have received from Bates Exterminating.  The office personnel have been extremely professional and helpful.  My service tech, Jim, always arrives on time with a smile on his face.  He is extremely cognizant of my time and does his job quickly but thoroughly.   And the insects stay away from my home!!!

Before I had Bates come out , I had another company come out under the landlords service. That company was completely incompetent and put out sticky glue traps which did nothing but snag a rat and the rat managed to escape the glue trap.. After that one incident the rats never came back to the glue traps as the were afraid of them.

After that companies incompetency I called Bates Exterminating to come out to access the problem. I was very impressed with Bates Exterminating's knowledge and expertise. The technician was punctual and very courteous. The technician was very precise on how to treat for rodents and knew exactly where the activity was and how to treat the problem effectively. My home is now rat free, Thanks to Bates Exterminating.

Oh my gosh , they were great .

I have recently moved into my new home and was in need of a pest control company. After doing my research of all available pest control companies in my area, it was hands down, Bates Exterminating. With an A+ rating in BBB I could not go wrong. Bates has also been in business since 1978.

When I called Bates a very friendly voice took my information and proceeded to tell me a technician would be calling back soon and would come out the same day for a free estimate. The tech called me back within 30 minutes and came out a few hours later. The rates were very reasonable!!!! The start up fee was $125.00 and my every other month fee was $48.00. Manny was my technician, he was WONDERFUL!!!! He was very informative about the species that could invade my home.

We do not have bugs so they must be doing okay.

We called to get a price quote for german roaches and small bugs in the house. They gave a 400.00 price for a 3100 square foot home and he said that the german roaches would not be that diffucult. After completing the job, they said that roaches would be all over the floor after a few hours. He said to stay out of the house for 4 hours because of the heavy fumes...he had to wear a breathing mask. They also said not to call back within two weeks as it may take up to 2 weeks for the full effect and eradication . There never were roaches killed on the floor and we never saw any dead roaches anywhere. Within the next week, there were still a lot of roaches. We called him back and he re-sprayed, saying that he sprayed within the walls and everywhere. Still, there were no roaches killed anywhere. Now it's been a few weeks and we have still not seen any dead roaches as a result of the treatment. They are currently in the garbage, in all the drawers, and the cabinets. I do not know if the small roaches are immune, extra difficult, or what the problem is. But I do know that an initial 400.00 price did nothing to eleviate our roach problem.

We called them to remove a bee hive. They told us that they were going to remove the hive completely. They didn't take the hive out all the way. I kept having problems, and I had to call them 30 times in a matter of months because they would not get rid of the problem. Since they did not take the hive out completely, the bees made a new hive deeper in the wall. Since they did not do the job correctly the first time, when ended up having to completely take out the wall in the bathroom. We had to completely redo our bathroom. We ended up having to call another company to analyze the problem, and they told us exactly what was wrong. Since they did not do this right, I had extra cost to call another company and to completely gut out my bathroom. I would not recommend them.

I've been using them since 1998. They do what they say and they are local.

They came recommended to us from a neighbor who uses them to do work. They are very friendly, professional, neat and on time. We will continue to use them for our pest control needs. The approximate cost listed is for the annual contract.
