Lucas Kearney came out to our home to do a complete analysis of what packing materials, manpower, etc would be needed to move us. He was thorough, very personable, kind and professional. We agreed on a binding contracted amount which gave me peace that my belongings wouldn’t be held hostage because of an unexpected surcharge or higher weight than anticipated. The crew carefully and professionally packed my entire home and took care to move them from one house to the other. They were kind and mannerly as well as professional. I felt very comfortable. The move took an extra few hours on the third day which was unexpected but the company did not charge me more for that unexpected time overage. Whew! I would definitely use them again and I would recommend them to family and friends!

Their book keeping was not correct and they just kept charging me. We finally got it straightened out after 3 months of charges. The actual move went just fine. I would not use them again.

I had an agreed price for the move however when the truck arrived at our new residence (about 13 miles) I was charged an extra $350. for fuel and more for other unexplained extras . No disclosure in advance about the fuel charge of $350. for the truck to move us 13 miles. A call to their office resulted in talking to a very unprofessional and rude man. I was told I would be called Monday with final total and to discuss the bill but no one called. I called on next day and spoke with operations manager who advised he would look into my issues and call me back. 2 days later no one has called. In my opinion they are violating unfair and deceptive trade practices statues. No one should use this company !
The response by All My Sons is false. At no time did anyone disclose a 22% fuel surcharge, one hour for travel over and above the hourly rate, or excess charges for over 8 hours. I did not call them to request a flat rate. I have the written contract booking sheet they provided me and NONE of those items are disclosed.
They refused to provide me with any documents the day of the move and told me I would be contacted and provided copies and a final accounting. They never called or provided me with anything. I called more than 10 times and every time was told it would be reviewed and call me back...never happened. Consumers should research various Consumer Affairs sites and Better Business Bureau for info on this company and you will find numerous complaints the same or similar to mine.

Response from All My Sons Moving & Storage of West Palm Beach
"All My Sons Moving & Storage of West Palm Beach, Inc. would like to thank you for the opportunity to reply to our customer’s complaint. It remains our goal to respond to all customer enquiries in both a timely and professional manner. [member name removed] contacted our offices on 2/25/14 requesting an hourly rate for his upcoming move. This was given to him by one of our sales team at $149.00 per hour, However we also recommended that one of our estimators come out to his residence and gives him an estimate as well. Our sales representative we to [member name removed] residence on 3/8/14 and he was given a flat price for his move. He chose to go with the hourly rate as opposed to the flat rate which was given that day. [member name removed] then booked his move with our company on 3/14/14 for the very next day 3/15/14. On 3/14/14 [member name removed] was confirmed by our office staff, in every conformation call we go over addresses, hourly rate plus one hour for travel, three hour minimum, over eight hours is charged at time and a half, and our standard fuel charge. All of which were disclosed to [member name removed] before his move took place. Our crew arrived at his residence at 7:30 a.m. and finished the move at 4 p.m. totaling 8.5 hours at $1,527.25, we also have a materials charge which is $67.00 bringing the total to $1,594.25. We have a standard fuel charge for all of hour hourly moves (which was disclosed during the confirmation call) of 22% of the total which was $350.74. Bringing the grand total to $1,944.99 subtracting the deposit amount of $100.00 [member name removed] paid the remaining balance of $1,844.99. I have included [member name removed] signed contractual agreement to show where it clearly states the 22% fuel charge on both the estimate and the bill of lading. [member name removed] called into our offices on 3/24/14 and was once again informed about the 22% fuel charge, by one of our sales associates. At this time be became extremely hostile and rude to our office staff. [member name removed] was given two options the guaranteed price or the hourly, he chose the hourly rate. It remains the goal of All My Sons Moving & Storage of West Palm Beach, Inc. to respond to all customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner. Again, we thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint directly. We ask that you please close this complaint Immediately."

This provider has totally ripped us off so BEWARE!!!!! We had them for a total of FOUR hours and were charged for FIVE. I called and asked for the refund and they said we would only be refunded for 15 minutes....they owe us $155....we were charge $155 per hour. Total total unprofessional company. They send people that don't speak english and expect us to be able to communicate. They leave you with NO receipt other then your credit card number and the charges. DO NOT USE THEM....THEY SUCK.

It was terrible. They sent 2 movers and they immediately told me that it would take 8 hours instead of 4 that we contracted for. They ended up scratching my coffee table and my daughters headboard. They cracked a tile in the entryway at the new home and tore my sofa in 3 places. The manager was not helpful at all. I would not recommend them at all. They were very unprofessional and provided poor service for the money paid.

It did not go well at all. When the workers got to the location all they did was complain about the items they had to move. One bedroom set had glass tops and all the lead worker did was complain that it was going to take them much longer than expected since they had to remove the glass tops from the bedroom set and wrap them individually. They also complained when they had to individually wrap the glass shelves from a bakers rack.
They complained that the estimator did not take this into consideration and he should have charged me more money for the move. I told them that that was the not my problem since he saw the items to be moved and that's the price he gave.
After they dropped off the furniture and left we noticed that 2 small electrical items items were missing and that a lucite shade on a $750.00 marble floor lamp was broken and the base of the lamp was chipped.
We called All My Sons a couple of hours after the move was completed and told them about the problems we incurred. We were told that they would send us an insurance claim form to fill out and and return to them. We did that on February 25, 2013.
On March 12, 2013 we received an answer to our claim. They offered us a total $18.00 for the damage and missing items which they based on weight. 30 lbs. @ $0.60 per lb.
This is a far cry from what it is going to cost to replace and repair the items.

The movers came right on time as promised, and the gentlemen that moved us were excellent. It took 2 hours to pack up the house and we were all on our way to the new house. Once we got there after the guys got lost for a while, but All was good. Once they arrived, they wouldn't until we paid. Expected, but.......the now said it would take 4 hours to unload, 1 hour travel time which we knew, and....$200 fuel charge!!!! Never mentioned anywhere. The men at the office, Eddie, I think, was as rude as I've ever encountered in any business. I would NEVER use them again, and will NEVER recommend them to anyone.

Not all that great. They had given me an estimate based on number of rooms as to how long it would take. They charge by the hour. Of course it took more than twice as long as they said and the price pretty much doubled by the time they were done. To top it off they scratch our dining room table and then after going back and forth on it they sent us a check for a fraction of what it would cost to fix properly.

.Initial communication sounded promising. The man I spoke with sounded
caring and professional. They were to pack my property and ship it (via
truck). Packing was lousy, more than lousy. Delivery was sudden.
They did not give me a delivery date. I get a call the day before that
my belongings will be delivered the next day. I had to scramble to
secure a storage unit.
When the going got tough, they got rude.
Handling phone calls = F. Unprofessional.
It was very stressful.
No integrity. I was not there to supervise packing. I don't know if they kept articles or not. They would not provide me with a packing list. Every time I would ask for one they became rude.
I would not recomment them to anyone.

They only offered me roughly $430.00 in compensation. They didn't even screen their employees. The people who moved my furniture could have been anybody off the street.

I called All My Sons Moving & Storage Boca Raton, FL, about a week prior to the date I needed to have my piano moved from Boca Raton, FL to Palmetto Bay, FL, which was April 25, 2012. Spoke with Elliott who gave me their flat rate price to move a piano of $750 but suggested that I use the hourly rate of 3 men at $130 an hour because it would be less expensive. I asked what guarantee I had that the charge would not end up being more than the $750 flat rate. He guaranteed me that it would be less. He asked for a $100 deposit to hold the date which I gave him over the phone via credit card. He said he would be emailing me a contract and paperwork regarding the move. I never received any email from them. When I called to ask where it was I was told that I would receive it at the pick-up point
of the move. I was also told that the truck would be at my house between 12 - 1 pm on April 25th and that the driver, Willie, would
give me a call 1 hour prior to their arrival. On the day of the move, Willie called me about 12:30 pm to say that they would be there about 4 pm. I told him this wasn't going to work, he said it wasn't his problem. I called Elliott who told me he couldn't do anything then switched me to Eddie in Dispatch who told me the same thing and to "be patient and just wait." The truck arrived at 3:45 pm. I asked Willie, the driver, about my paperwork. He said I would receive it at the drop-off location. I left Boca Raton at 4:45 pm and arrived at the
Palmetto Bay address at 6 pm. The moving truck arrived shortly after 7 pm. All the while I am paying by the hour. Willie, the driver,
told me I had to pay him before they could take the piano off the truck. He presented me with 2 credit card slips to sign, 1 for $100 which was the deposit and 1 for $935 which he said was the balance. I told him that was wrong and what Elliott had told me but he
said there was nothing he could do. I called the main office to speak to Elliott but was told he was gone for the day. The man who answered the phone would not give me his name. While I was on the phone, the movers locked up the truck and said they were taking the piano back with them.I had to pay the excessive amount. I received no paperwork, no contract, nothing. All I have are 2 credit card receipts that don't even have the company name printed on them. I feel robbed.

WARNING: Do not ever use ALL MY SONS MOVING & STORAGE in West Palm Beach, Florida (or anywhere else, for that matter). This was my experience: On February 20, 2012 I called All My Sons Moving & Storage to schedule my office move from West Palm Beach to Ft. Lauderdale for either February 29, 2012 or March 1, 2012. The dates were necessitated by the building I am moving into -- since I am moving into an office on the 26th floor, the time slots available for the service elevator were from 1:30PM to 3:30PM on each of those days. When I asked them which day would be best based on the availability of a crew, they told me either day was fine, they had crews available both days. I told them about my move-in time slot, and I asked them what time they could be there in the morning to load the truck. I was told that they would show up when I wanted them. So, I then asked if 10am on March 1st would work -- I was told "yes". I paid a $100.00 deposit to reserve my move and everything was confirmed in writing on Monday, February 27th, including the move-out and move-in times. At 7pm on February 29th (note -- this was the night before the move, and long after working hours), Eddie from All My Sons calls me and tells me that the crew assigned to do my move is going to be doing another move immediately before mine. I reiterated my time slots, and was told it "would not be a problem". At 10:06 am on March 1st -- no movers. At 11:20 am -- no movers. I have, of course, been calling All My Sons to find out what is going on and am being told "2 more hours". This continues until just before 2:00 PM, at which point --being already completely stressed out, called another company and arranged to be moved tomorrow, and arranged with both buildings for new times slots -- I fired All My Sons Moving and Storage. So, here I am, completely stressed out and upset. I went back and read the ad for All My Sons Moving & Storage, as well as their email to me confirming my move, because I was looking for a reason to laugh. They promised me a "stress free" move and "reliable" service. Yeah, right.

If you use this company be sure you get IN WRITING how they will charge you and WHAT they will charge you for.
Also follow the truck so you know if they make any stops along the way. We were charged while they stopped at a convenience store and refueled.
We cannot prove it but we believe we had a verbal understanding that they did not honor. We believe we were misled and overcharged.
A written agreement would have prevented this. We take partial responsibility for not getting it.

From beginning to end, it went from questionable to horrible. The initial call and quote went fine, I told them I had to move a three bedroom house, I had a seperate storage unit large enough to fit a car in, that was full of patio furniture and boxes, I owned several large heavy pieces of furniture, and a full size moving truck was used for my move. I wanted a quote with packing included. I was told my move would cost approximately $3800, plus additional cost if truck exceeded a certain weight amount. Like most humans, I have no idea of the weight of my household furniture and items. My move date came, and no movers were there. I should have cancelled and started with a different company, but gave them the benefit of the doubt, and four days later I had a crew at my house to pack me, no truck yet. I was surprised because All MY Sons advertised as a full service moving company but they hired United Moving to assist. The men who packed me laughed at me and said I would get screwed later in the move - and they were right. A truck showed up early afternoon, and it was way too small. They shoved in all they could fit, and agreed to pack my bed and TV the following morning. After they loaded up and drove to my new home, I was told the truck weighed twice as much as the estimate, and I owed double the quote, plus more for extra packing supplies. However, the packing supplies that were not from United included leftover boxes from a previous movers move, and to get everything done, I packed many of the boxes myself as I was already four days late getting out of my house. I had to pay a cleaning company to clean while the new occupants were already pulling up in driveway trying to move in! I was told by All My Sons that I must pay the new amount, or they would not remove my goods from the truck. I guess in retrospect, I should have called the police, but I was coerced into paying the amount, Once they unloaded the truck, (by the way, there was only 1 worker doing all the unloading solo) several significant items were destroyed. A large Wardrobe from my master bedroom got dropped and was cracked and shattered. A White of Mebane Buffet was warped and scratched. The top extensions to a Library Wall shelf and ladder were cracked. A flat screen TV was shattered. A carved wooden room divider was broken, and many other items were damaged. I was told by the worker not to worry, his company was good about taking care of damages, I just needed to sign the paperwork to indicate I had recieved the delivery, as he needed to leave that night to get back to West Palm. Shame on me, I signed. I should never have signed the paperwork, as my signature became an agreement that All My Sons was no longer responsible and I accepted full liability for everything I received into my home. Now, those of you whom have ever moved know that you cannot possibly unpack every item and see all damage until after you start unpacking. I filled out a claim form and submitted it to All My Sons - I have to say, they were very responsive and said they were not liable, I had agreed to the least amount of insurance possible (something I must have signed when papers were shoved in front of me) and my signature of release (which I was told was just a completion of delivery) meant they did not owe me a thing. There was plenty of communication back and forth, they offered me a check for $210 which was supposed to make everything right. I am still seething and wish I could ship them a giant pile of damaged furniture which cost me $8000 to have delivered to me.

While they were supposed to arrive at 9am they arrived early and charged for the time while I was in transit. Nobody in the crew spoke proper English. Some boxes were placed upside down though clearly marked which way is up. They broke apart one piece of furniture as I warned them not to move the item with the method they were attempting. When we arrive to my home they demanded I pay $699 even though we had only worked 1.5 hours with transit time at that point. I said 3 hours =$109 is $436 and that we won't need that much time anyways. They called the office where rude and hostile people refused to unload until I paid. They added fake charges for supplies (they used none) and for gasoline surcharges (not mentioned before). I complained they threatened to steal/damage my property. When I mentioned the broken desk to the office the workers on site became irate with me to the point that I feared for my property. Yet, they asked me to call the office to sort out the overbilling. Nonsensical. While the workers were at my home they constantly asked for water and that I give them various items of my property. They did not wear foot covers. Their body sweat was dripping off them and they rubbed there sweat on to my sofa and chairs staining the fabric. Disgusting. Some of the guys tried to fix the broken furniture but that did not work out to well. Office is rude and unhelpful. Truly an awful service that tries to extort you for more money. THEY ARE OUT TO GET YOU!! Don't use this company and tell your friends!

Terrible. They started off two hours late and went downhill from there. The movers couldn't even speak English. They cinched a metal belt buckle right over my bicycle frame. When I pointed out that the metal would damage the paint on my frame they wrapped a dirty towel over it which soon fell off and left the metal buckle free to gouge the paint. They had tons of thick moving blankets in the truck, but couldn't be bothered to use a single one. The company representative lied through her teeth about the care that they would take in moving my stuff. They charged me for packing they didn't do as well.
