 + -1 moreDo to the costs and my concerns, I went to another auto service center just down the street. They inspected and told me I needed 2 motor mounts. They gave me an estimate of $350. When I picked the car up, they had only replaced 1 motor mount and said that was all I needed. The sound was gone. But given they had earlier said I needed two, I remained concern. Was it 1, 2 or 4 motor mounts that I needed. I have to drive to SC the next day and asked my long-term auto center in SC to check it out, so I would know. They said in fact 1 had been replace and that the other 3 were just fine. The other service center could have easily gone ahead with their estimate, but actual did only what was needed. You can guess where I am going back to for future service. I will never use St Lucie Tire again anything as you can not trust their work.
Description of Work: They inspected my car for broken motor mounts do to a sound I keep hearing like a loose bolt. They said 4 motor mounts needed to be replaced. Supposedly offered a discount on Labor, but estimated $800 to repair. I decided to wait because of the costs. I frankly throught they may have broke the motor mounts installing front struts on the same car 2 months earlier. I had been hearing the sound since about that time.
