The sound was gone. But given they had earlier said I needed two, I remained concern. Was it 1, 2 or 4 motor mounts that I needed. I have to drive to SC the next day and asked my long-term auto center in SC to check it out, so I would know. They said in fact 1 had been replace and that the other 3 were just fine. The other service center could have easily gone ahead with their estimate, but actual did only what was needed.
You can guess where I am going back to for future service. I will never use St Lucie Tire again anything as you can not trust their work.
