It did not go well. On 8/22/20, Sailfish Floors (owner Derek Clobes) sent me an invoice in the amount of $878.63 for the medicine cabinets. (no size stated) On approximately 8/24/20 a check was mailed to Sailfish Floors for 100% of the invoice. On Nov. 11,2020, the medicine cabinets were delivered and found by me and others to be too large for bathrooms. They were 24" W x 29 1/2" L x 5 1/2" D. Much too large. I accepted them in hopes of making them fit. They did not fit. Contacted Derek next day for remake or refund. He refused either. Contacted Derek to take them back as I had no room or place to store them. No answer from him. So basically I now have 3 large medicine cabinets I cannot use or store and I have lost $878.63. Not a satisfied or happy senior citizen.

"Custom cabinetry is not returnable or refundable.. However, I tried earnestly to negotiate for a partial refund for you, and you demanded either a remake to new specifications or a total refund. Your attempt to coerce me into excepting possession of the cabinets, with a receipt, only provides further evidence of your deceitful intentions.. I’m glad you are happy with the services Sailfish provided on your; Flooring. Vanities. Sinks. Faucets. Staircase. Baseboard. Toilets. Light fixtures. Receiving of packages unassociated with our business , then delivery.. Etc.. Congratulations, and if you can find a contractor that can get his head around having to cut through a stud in order to mount those medicine cabinets I think you’ll really enjoy them as they are complementary to the cohesive design.."

This company is an absolute pleasure to deal with on all levels. I'm not easily pleased, but the experience from start to finish was professional and attentive. I usually gravitate toward "family owned" and small business for all of this reasons that this company demonstrated while doing this work.

We are delighted with our new hardwood floors, installed by hardworking perfectionists. Why they even helped us move our furniture, and that's not something they had to do. Totally sold on this company and would not hesitate to use again, even if I had property out of state, I'd ship this company in.

It was a "stress free" purchase, They had us choose different types of product, and explained the product professionally. We took two samples home to see how it coordinated with our furniture, We were thinking about another sample and he took pictures of it and sent it to us to help us make our decision. We were surprised it was installed on the Fourth of July! When he was through, he sent me a picture of the bedroom with all the furniture in place. We were very satisfied and when we do the other rooms we will use him. Trust and honesty were very important to us and we could tell that Derek had those attributes. We would recommend Sailfish Flooring without hesitation.

Derrick is awesome. We purchased waterproof vinyl flooring from Derick at sailfish flooring. The vinyl planks looks just like wood, but is water proof and we were also able to put it in our bathroom. We love the way it turned out. Derrick has also laud flooring for us in the past, he does great work and it a very hard worker. Derrick and his wife are good people?.

Derek and his crew showed up on time and did a great job. They completed the installation in a little under 5 hours. He is apparently very competent and experienced...the finished product was flawless.
