The appraiser on a dimes notice hopped a plane to inspect the aforementioned vehicle at Long Beach Customs LLC,116 Celtic Cir. Bld B Madison, AL 35758.The vehicle did not live up to scrutiny and was not as advertised. There were too many inconsistencies to disqualify said vehicle from commanding the selling price listed,125,000, and in fact it was worth considerably less by 40-50 thousand.
Chip Davis, the appraiser, noticed among other things that the frame had been noticeably hit and straightened, the fuel line was inconsistent for a big block, the paint was not correct for the car, after market parts were used, the gas cap did not align, the front had been hit and corrected but was not perfect, the trim tag was not original, the headlight sockets and bucket seats were after market, etc,etc,etc.
Prior to hiring Chip I asked him to check out a 1963 split window corvette advertised on Hemmings. Chip remembered the seller as being less than truthful so I hired him to inspect the vehicle. The seller refused Chip to inspect the vehicle before I contracted with Chip because he feared Chip's exactness. Chip examined the seller's photos and found discrepancies that disallowed it to be a numbers matching vehicle as advertised. Chip saved me a bundle of money which would have been lost on this car.

I have used them a couple different times so far. First time, I paid $600 and the last time, it was almost $2000. They were sending it to North Carolina to look at the cars. The guy is extremely honest, very thorough and in depth. My last car, he bid it and had 162 bidders for the car. He is very unbiased. I have compared his price with other people. He made all the phone calls. I am happy there. He is remarkable.
