Yesterday's Child is an excellent Estate Sale Company. I regularly visit their sales which are beautifully organized and staged and the prices are fair. I was so impressed that I contracted the company to manage the estate sale for my mother. The owner, Margaret Hill is very knowledgeable, professional and knows her stuff. Her staff is friendly, courteous and professional. I would recommend this company for estate sale services!!

Yesterday's Child Estate Sales did the best job I could have asked for.  They sorted, arranged, and priced all items prior to the time of sale.  They did a fantastic job of staging everything and then re-staging as needed during the three day sale so that items were well-displayed.  They performed research as needed to price things appropriately.  The sale was advertised through their website, email lists, street signage and estatesales.net.  They manned the sale with sufficient workers and managed the heavy traffic flow through the home.   They also provided the option to have a charity (Angel Aid) come in at the end of the sale to take what was left.  We really appreciated this option, as it relieved us of that additional chore and also did a good deed.  We received an accounting of the donated items and their fair market value for tax purposes.  They arranged for the charity to come in immediately at the end of the sale and they were right on time.  At the end of the 3 day sale, we were left with an empty house....which was our goal.  It took about 2 weeks for the full accounting to be completed and we were paid promptly at that time.  We were charged a percentage of the gross for their services.  Another amount taken out of the total was a charge for a police officer (which was definitely needed to manage the traffic!)  We were very pleased with the amount we cleared!  Margaret Hill, the owner of Yesterday's Child, has been doing this for many years and is very experienced in what she does.  She was a pleasure to work with.  We have already been recommending her to anyone and everyone we talk to about the estate sale.
