I have been looking to remodel my kitchen for about 2 years. I knew this would be a large project including removing a wall and adding a laundry room and all new wood floors thru out . I talked to many contractors but no one really came up with a good plan to expand my small galley kitchen. We met with Jack and he had a vision that no one else came up with, we loved his plan for our kitchen. Then we met Aaron and all our fears of having someone work in our home doing major construction were put to rest. He was so professional and an absolute perfectionist. He kept me informed everyday of the project and answered any and all questions or changes we wanted along the way. My husband and I were so impressed with these guys that I started added more to my project. Aaron added custom trim work and did an amazing job. He takes absolute pride in his work. One of the guys that works with Aaron, Dave was also just as professional, we left them alone in our home without a worry. They were extremely respectful of our home and our time. We are having them back to do both bathrooms. I HIGHLY recommend these professionals!

Everything went smoothly! Jack was very prompt giving an estimate and helped us pick out just the right cabinets for our budget. Aaron and his crew were very courteous, kind, prompt and worked efficiently and did quality work.

How did we get so lucky! Finding the right contractor when you are new to the area is a nail-biting decision. We have modest means and this is our "forever" home so it was important that we spend wisely and work with people we trust and respect.. We met with 4 contractors and went with this one...GREAT DECISION! Jack and Aaron are true professionals, detail oriented, patient, honest, nice, fun, willing to listen and contribute great ideas...they also took care to watch out for our two dogs as they came in and out of the house dozens of times a day (this was hugely important to us),. The quality of the cabinets they installed was exceptional and it exceeded all our expectations. Despite the chaos of the work, they cleaned up and left the house as neatly as possible each day....need I go on? Mike and Aaron are a dream come true. We know they work on bigger and more expensive projects...but they couldn't possibly have made anyone happier than they made us. Now..... on to the master bath!

Highly recommend Woodworks Cabinetry. I did not shop around on prices based on other reviews, so cannot evaluate that. However, it seemed reasonable for all the work done. They revised the floor plan in my kitchen, moved door opening and retiled from foyer through open concept dining and kitchen to hallway and bath. Everything went smoothly. Subcontractors for ceiling repair, electrical and plumbing were excellent and obviously respected the guys from Woodworks. Woodworks employees were very respectful, understanding and patient. They were accommodating to my times. Great company to work with.

We could not be more pleased with the workmanship, professionalism, and overall customer service provided by Woodworks Cabinetry, Inc. during the remodeling of our kitchen. They are a small, local business with a hands-on approach to everything they do. They do the designing, the removal (they shy away from the term ‘demolition’), the cabinet installation, and more. When a specific trade is required, they act as the general contractor, scheduling the various trades when they need them, providing coordination that is seamless to the homeowner. We looked to several companies for estimates for this project and this contractor service is not as common as you would think. Jack spent every minute with us that we needed until we felt good about the over design alternatives, material choices, and schedule considerations. They started early and finished within the specified time parameters agreed upon prior to commencement. Everyone connected with Woodworks was an impressive addition to our overall satisfaction with the remodel. Specifically; Arron, David, and Brandon made sure that the removal of old cabinets was done in such a manner that we were able to re-use them in the garage to enhance its utility. Kirby from Kirby Electrical Services, Steve from Mandarin Plumbing, and Mike working the countertops, all were extremely personable, making sure to provide an introduction and then review what was scheduled to be done so there was no misunderstanding. All were very professional and extremely knowledgeable about their craft. Arron performed all of the cabinet, sink, trim, dishwasher, exhaust fan, and backsplash installations. Not only is he meticulous in his workmanship, but he has a keen design eye when it comes to discussing details that added just the right touch to the new look of the kitchen. He worked long hours to ensure that the job was completed in time for us to meet a social commitment at the house that was scheduled prior to the start of the remodel. When the job was done and he was not coming back the next day, it felt as if we were losing contact with a friend. Just a fine young man. We would recommend Woodworks Cabinetry, Inc. to any of our friends or to anyone who would ask us for a referral. They are a top flight organization and worthy of increased business growth.

Aaron and his helper, Brandon, did amazing work. They are friendly, trustworthy and sticklers for detail. Aaron has done this for years and is a perfectionist...just what you want for this type of work. They cleaned up at the end of each day and went the extra mile by helping make sure there weren't any hazards left out for our cats. Most importantly, my kitchen is beautiful and just what I wanted. Their price was the middle of the three companies I considered. I chose Woodworks because they offered laminate countertops (my cheaper option only offered granite, but their cabinet prices were lower), they had a good online reputation, and Jack (Aaron's partner and my initial contact with the company) was able to offer the semi-custom work I needed for under the kitchen eat in area bay windows. They built an awesome seating area for my cats with cabinets underneath for me. In summary, I'd highly recommend this company primarily based on my experience with Aaron's work. He was always going the extra mile to make things just right.

I interview and researched 6 top cabinet companies in Jacksonville and decided to go with top ranked Angie's List pros at Woodworks Cabinetry. The cabinets you see in the images are CUSTOM frameless cabinets hand made and installed by Jack Cahill and Arron Ramroop. The custom work was superior to anything you could possible buy from any of the leading cabinet brands. We have amazing custom features including hidden kick plate storage, built in spice racks, hidden exhaust vent custom built in cabinets, a matching breakfast nook, and they even helped install a substrate over the island so we could install back lighting for translucent waterfall counter tops. These guys are relentless with detail and follow up and they don't stop until everything is PERFECT. to top it all off, the price was better than most "brands" offered "off the shelf." Don't waste your time shopping competitors. I already did that for you. If you want and expect nothing less than pure awesomeness, hire Woodworks Cabinetry.

.I didn't actually go with him to do the work because of the pricing but he did an excellent job with the design and really listening to what I wanted, it was just the price was prohibitive at that time and it turns out it's really would be been a fair price.

He really listened in terms of coming up with the design I was trying to do the bathrooms and kitchen an he came up with an awesome design and awesome lay out, a few little things add to it that I hadn't even thought about really creative, he really listened well and really put together my vision, I had the vision, he came he walked me through the house saw the vision as well and then he was able to permit that vision on paper.

For the initial estimate, Jack was punctual and professional- as I described to him what I was looking for, he totally got the entire picture and he offered wonderful suggestions on ways to improve those ideas even further. I quickly decided I wanted to go with Woodworks- I had a tight timeframe and they were absolutely willing to make it happen. I went to the showroom to pick out cabinet styles, finishes and hardware- they had everything I needed right in one location, which made it simple. Fiance and I recently purchased a home and wanted to have a little bit of work done on the kitchen. We are somewhat new to the area and relied on Angie's List to find a service provider. Came across Woodworks which had a bunch of positive reviews so thought we'd give them a shot. They did excellent work on our project. I worked primarily with Jack during the process. He priced out the project fairly and understood our needs. He was also very responsive to questions we had and delivered everything within an appropriate time frame. We have a small kitchen and had him replace about 35sq ft of countertops and also add in a backsplash. Additionally we had him put in an apron sink which required reconfiguration of existing cabinets and also switch out some electrical outlets. Maybe one of the more lasting impressions we had outside of his actual work was how clean our home was during the renovation. My fiance and I both work so when we got home we were amazed to see that not only was work done, but any mess made was completely cleaned up. Might seem small but goes a long way in keeping your sanity during a transitional phase in your house. If there weren't counter tops missing after the demo day you never would have known they were in the house. We have some needs for bathroom remodels we would like to do next year and plan to call Jack again for those projects.

Smooth, only one mistake, in the design, computer went down, company could not see the layout. When the job was nearly complete the company did not hesitate to address a plan that corrected the computers mistake, which took very little time. This company is a company of high standards if you are looking for superior craftmanship look no futher; their custom cabinet design is the esence of quality and their integrity is flawless, they stand behind their work, much like the large corporate remodeling stores, but with a more personal degree. I highly recommend this trustworthy company.

We were very happy with Woodworks. The project started just before Thanksgiving and we had a new kitchen by the new year. We were happy that the project was finished in a timely manner. The workmanship done by Woodworks was excellent. Arron was amazing and takes a lot of pride in his work. He made sure we were completely happy with everything. I was not happy with the way the ceiling looked after we had knockdown put up, so they had the company they subcontracted to do this job come back out and redo it. We have been living in the kitchen for about 6 months now and we love it. We would definitely use Woodworks again and recommend them.

We were looking to remodel our laundry room to make better use of the limited space (5'4"x6'10").  Met with Jack Cahill who drew up a concept after working back and forth with Jack settled on a design.  Which Jack priced quoted.   We had received a similar quote that provided much less from another vendor so we decided to go with Woodworks for overall value and responsiveness in design/quote process.  Installation started after cabinets arrived from vendor and took approximately 3 weeks duration (probably 5 days of work) given that the Installation required moving plumbing and lights.  There were some minor issues such as forgetting to putting the orange peel texture on the wall before painting and the crown molding not matching the nearby kitchen however Aaron and Jack made sure everything was corrected as soon as possible with no questions asked.  They never bickered on any changes requested and always provided just what we wanted.  In the end the laundry looks fantastic and gets rave reviews from friends.  The design makes the room look much larger and increases its functionality.

We plan to use Woodworks again when we remodel our bathroom.
