The branch was removed and wood was cleared. I was given the option of $900 to clear the branch or rent the team for a half day at $900 where they could remove the branch and take away other dead branches from different trees. The work they did was satisfactory. I am still confused though how what the work they did cost $900. I feel that I could have done the work in a day with my small chainsaw. Also I was not pleased with the tire tracks left along the side on my house to the back yard.

Wayne did an overall excellent job. He prepositioned a large crane the day before the job, to allow for a more efficient sequence of events, and movement of equipment, the day of the job. He and his crew arrived as scheduled, (the next morning), and completed the work in 4 hours, which is what he estimated.
His crew removed the tree, ground the stump, and completely cleaned the lawn, shrub beds and street of debris. My experience with Wayne's Tree Service was positive. I would use his services again.

Contacted Wayne's thru the Angie's List app and they got back to me within 24 hours.  Needed a dead tree taken down at my former residence. Problem was I had moved to Virginia.  Sherry got me an estimate and placed on the schedule within a week. Wayne sent me pics of the job as I requested for proof in the city hearing it was the one.  Everything was done on the old style of business of promise to pay.  Once I got the pictures I put a check in the mail to make good on the work. Not many people will work with you on a promise these days.  Way to go Sherry and Wayne!

I cannot recommend Wayne's highly enough!  If I could give them an A plus plus plus, I would.

Wayne and Sherry are both professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable of trees and shrubs in our area.  The day of the job, the crew arrived on time and got straight to work - no lollygagging about. Using an impressive "small space" lifting rig, they made short work of three very large water oaks, cutting them down to the stumps in just a couple of hours. They followed that up with a stump grinder and removed those, too.

When it was all said and done, there was little evidence that the trees were ever there.  VERY thorough removal!  The debris was stacked neatly by the curb as we expected a short delay between felling and pick-up (the demo crew works faster than the clean-up crew!), however by 5pm, Wayne himself was onsite removing the massive load of tree trunks (maybe 10' x 5' pile).  No debris was left behind from any of the trim jobs, either.

While I offered to have the crew come inside for lunch since it was quite hot that day they politely declined, citing the fact they were covered in sawdust and sweat and didn't want to dirty up my house - like I said, very polite and professional!  Instead, they took a quick lunch and got right back to work - impressive!

While the cost was (to me) enormous, I feel I got every pennies worth and then some.  I spoke with several other tree removal services, but none gave me the same 'feel' as the one I got from Wayne's.  They are licensed, insured and unbelievably proficient! I still am in awe they were able to do as much as they did - as well as they did - in just one day!

The service was great. His team did the work the same week I contacted him, and they did a fanstastic job. The tree was removed, and there was no debris left for me to pick up.
The price is very fair (not cheap, and also not a price gouge - just a fair price for quality work. That's hard to find these days) and work done is excellent.
Overall, I'd say if you need a tree removed, call Wayne first.

I called Wayne Monday morning.  He met my husband and his dad's house (Wayne was working in the are) during my husband's lunch break.  They talked about the trees and what needed to be done.  On Wednesday, Wayne and gang showed up and did a terrific job on my father-in-law's home.  Great attitude, great clean up, great trimming!  The entire neighborhood was outside watching these guys!  We will definitely use Wayne again.

Wayne gave me a very competitive bid, and included all serviced we agreeded on in the contract. He called the day before to confirm our appointment and arrived on time. His crew layed down plywood on the lawn to minimize damage from equip. They lowered each branch to the ground with rope so as not to damage the house and other shrubs and trees. The trunk was cut into 5' sections and fell onto a pile of limbs so not to damage the yard/lawn. They ground all the stumps as I requested, and racked the yard. Wayne had all the necessary equp. to complete this job in a professional and safe manner. The only sign of Wayne and his crew being there are 8 piles of mulch. Wayne did an outstanding job and while here 2 neighbors asked for bids because of what they saw. I would call Waynes tree service again and recommend them to anyone.

Wayne's Tree Service performed the work as promised.  I did learn that Angie's List charges each business an annual fee to be listed on the webpage.

I was referred to this service by All About Tree Care since they were booked until January and I needed a tree trimmed sooner as the branches were almost starting to scrape against my roof. I talked to Wayne and he gave me an estimate as soon as he was able to stop by and see the tree. I thought it was rather expensive since this is my first time ever paying for getting a tree trimmed-- usually my dad would do some minor work, but he wasn't the best at it to say the least... and I had gotten a quote from a previous service for $175 but my neighbor informed me that they didn't do a good job. However, I was very satisfied with the work. They called a few minutes prior to coming by and arrived in the time frame that was discussed. They asked me a couple of questions about how I wanted it to look, then trimmed the tree, cleared all the fallen branches, and raked up all the leaves in about 1.5 hrs. Quick, clean work. Very satisfied. I would use them again.

Wayne gave me a quick estimate for the removal. It was right in line with what a reputable licensed/insured service would charge. Have had other trees removed several years ago and so I knew approximately what it was going to run. Plus, I had one other estimate from a local, well established, service which was almost identical. His crew came out on time and took care of business. They had the tree down, stump grinding done, property cleaned up and the debri hauled off with them when they left, all in about 2-3 hours. The tree was right on a fence line and their work could have easily damaged the fence but no problems at all. No fly-by-nighters. These guys were good.

The only complaint I had was when they were done they didnt inform me how much tree sap would excude from the tree where the branches had been cut.  Right after they left, we had to go out of town for a week to attend a funeral.  When we got back there was a huge amount of sap, running all down the tree, and all over the back porch, railing and porch stairs.   Barbeque cover with sap. I could not use the porch at all.  I have a dauschund who had back problems.  We built a ramp for her to use on the back porch steps; she couldnt use it; had to rip off the artificial grass on the ramp and replace.  It took me weeks of trying to remove the sap; in fact Iam still working to clean it up so I can use the porch again.  Maybe after cutting the limbs  the company could have put some type of sealer on the open cuts..  If that had not been possilbe, I wish they would have at least informed me how much sap that there was going to be.  I would have bought a drop sheet to protect the porch.
