Watson Plumbing

Fabulous work performed on installing two new heat pumps from American Standard. They were 18% efficiency rated compared to my old Lenox heat pumps that were 10% efficient. They are both so quiet I cannot hear them from within the house and the same goes for the two air handlers that are also quiet and just as efficient. Price was great and they completed the installs in just two days.

Overall it went well. Technician was punctual, and got to our appointment on short notice. Replaced a fan motor and went across town to pick up a new fan blade. He did not replace a wire shield on two visits, however, and finally did on another visit. It was not really required, but neatened up the wiring, and was there on the original install

Paul C. and his team did an outstanding job. They were dedicated, thorough, well mannered and cheerful throughout a long two day project that included many challenges; and never once did any of them either lose their cool or utter so much as a single word of profanity. Such total professionalism is very unusual and deserves to be recognized.
Our house feels much more comfortable with the new system and the lowered humidity. Paul C?s suggestion to have Watson completely replace the leaking under-floor return duct work (rather than patching it) was inspired ? that old duct work was sucking so much air from under the house it was causing night-time sinusitis. We have been sleeping better since the work was completed.
And we are quite impressed with the quality of the American Standard heat pump system ? a brand I had never even heard of until I decided to look up heat pumps in Consumer Reports and discovered American Standard was the top heat pump brand for quality workmanship and fewest repairs. Watson?s price was also very competitive, along with the superior quality of the equipment.
Bottom Line: Watson has a superior product and provides great service!
I will definitely use them again, and  I would recommend them to anyone needing a new Heat Pump system.

Watson Plumbing is a dream. When you live in an older house, you have plumbing issues!! This is my first review for Watson Plumbing because I'm new to Angie's list but I have used them for many projects. Because of this, Watson sends me the same plumber for every job, John Maycumber. Knowing that John will be sent out to my house and that he is familiar with other work that's been done gives a continuity of customer care that is rare in this kind of service profession. Whenever John runs into a strange quirk of our older home, he's on the phone to his boss and others to come up with a solution that will get the job done right and without breaking the bank. This was true in the installation of the new sink and faucet and dishwasher line. The new sink ran deeper and some plumbing had to be reworked. John was on it and takes time to show me all the parts, explain what he's doing and show me what he's been able to recycle and reuse instead of charging me for new things I don't need.

The guy who came out was very pleasant to work with. Had very good manners and showed he not only liked his job but enjoyed making people happy. Was an absolute pleasure having him come into our home.

Paul C with Watson is a detail oriented installer. He won us over when he saved us from having a sweat-box for a home. When our old air company came out, the tech told us it was low on Freon from a leak in the coils, and it would cost $100 a pound. We asked if the $100 a pound would be applied to the purchase of a new system if we bought new. He said no. We paid him his trip charge and called several other vendors. The age of our old system convinced us we needed a new system We got estimates from them all. Paul C with Watson gave us a very competitive estimate and also gave our old system a Freon charge so that we could remain in our home till the new install could be done. He didn't charge a dime for the Freon.  He came back a couple days later and started the install. It was a total replacement including the drain pipe, control wires, and Puron line to the outside unit. He also brought the outside pad up to code by adding another new pad and getting it level. The lines and wires are all anchored and routed properly. It was a clean and neat install. He explained the operation of the new digital Thermidistat (Thermostat) and the way it can control the humidity. It does a wonderful job. We can set the temp a little higher at 77 degrees and remain very comfortable because the humidity is also set to a low number. We are very happy with the new system and I recommend Watson to anybody who needs service work on their system or needs a new one.

The problem is gone and the company was very cordial.

They are professional, they tend to be on time and their rates seem to be reasonable - they aren't the highest company.  I would recommend them to others.

They do a good job. I haven't had any problems with my AC and I'm going to have them out again soon

They did a fantastic job. My 30 year old home now looks almost new. I'm sure the work has added to my property value. This was truly a professional job from start to end.

Very well. Paul C. is very thorough and gave me different options prices for my budget. There was no pressure. He was always in touch by phone. They cleaned after they were done. Friendly service. Today it is freezing outside, and for the first time in five years my bedroom is not an ice bucket with this type of weather!

They are excellent. They showed up when they said. They were very efficient. They completed the job in the time frame they said. They communicated well and they were punctual. This company had four divisions, but they operate independently. They have plumbing, home maintenance, electrical and heating and air.

I've dealt with Watson twice and in both cases, they came on the same day as the call as well as on-time! This deserves a big thumbs up by itself, as most service providers make you wait a few days and then give you a 3-4 hour block of time that you have to wait for them. They fixed the problem promptly and did not try to sell extra services or products. Would recommend to others!

I can't think of anything that I didn't like about Watson Plumbing. The man that came out explained what work he was doing and why he was doing it. This made me feel very comfortable, because I knew they weren't doing work that wasn't necessary.
