Results were fine. Install took over 6 months.

Near perfect job, entire house refinished floors with slate including tight spaces such as closets. Only two or three stones needed any remediation after the job was completed, to level an edge (slate is uneven tile), and to inject a little extra grout in one hollow spot.

He started the job 1 day late but that was the only issue. Our entryway looks amazing and we have had many compliments from other owners.

They showed up when they said they would and completed the job on time. I had a couple of issues but they took care of it right away. I have no complaints with their service.

In a word sloppy. The cleaning of the tile that was supposed to happen never did. We keep finding places where small debris that was tracked into the house was sealed OVER. Marks on the tile from the installers were also never cleaned up as promised.
They were supposed to seal the floor with two coats of sealer after sanding down some of the corners that were raised. Bashkim sold us on the sanding ($2/sqft vs $.30/sqft for just sealing) by pointing out several places that could have used the wet sanding. We haven't had stone tile floors before and were not sure of the level of finish they should have.
The crew finished in a DAY - provided one coat of sealer instead of two, and those raised places that were the reason we went with the more expensive wet sanding? Looks like they were untouched. The actual finished coat of sealer was missing in places on the floor. We had them come back and strip the floor, resand some of the places, and reseal. The results the second time were no better than the first. He gave us an excuse about how you down want to wet sand it too deep to smooth some the corners - if you couldn't fix the problem in the first place why sell us on it? The single sealer coat (instead of two) STILL had and quot;holesand quot; (defined as places where they missed, forgot, or were too lazy to put sealer in) in it. At this point we were moving into the house, had no more time for them to do it again, so we paid them to leave us alone.
I would NEVER use Bash or his crew again. The guy is a good salesman, nice, easy to talk to, but his crew has no business actually doing this type of finish work. Maybe he has installers on his crew that aren't used to having to be as careful about the finished product. The only part I of this job I am actually happy with is the job they did on replacing the tiles.
