I have used them before and they are wonderful. They are a locally owned company, and they do great work.

Worst possible experience ever. Cannot say that enough. Many days didn't show up when scheduled, WAY over budget, and very shoddy/sloppy work. Initial quote was roughly 8,500 and ended up billing for over 34,000 then put a lien on house for just over 5,000 without even informing us. Actually have email from them to contractor (which also deserves an and quot;Fand quot;) telling them they need to figure out a way to bill for more as they underestimated. This was not for any real reason-- the plans were not modified along the way--they just kept messing up and having to redo the same work. Just one of many, many examples, they took several days (NOT HOURS) to try to fix an existing 3-way switch in one of the bathrooms that they messed up. Beyond comprehension really. Left work undone--again few examples are leaving fuse boxes unlabeled, an existing light switch at front door inoperable, not putting 3-way switches in according to drawn plans, the list goes on and on. Even the contractor was frustrated but said and quot;they are all like thatand quot; which cannot be true. Stay far away from this horrible company or get hard quote in writing with time line for a big job if you have absolutely no other option. Worst electrical company EVER.

I called this morning. They were here by 9:30. Figured out what was wrong, fixed it. Checked the breaker and all the connections. Knowledgable, friendly, professional, you couldn't ask for more. They have done other work for me as well. When we expanded the kitchen they were the choice of electrician for my contractor.

They were excellent. The price charged by them for what they did was extremely reasonable. The person who came out was extremely professional and he did a good job. I would recommend them and I would definitely use their services in the future too.

They were very helpful and very efficient. I was a bit concerned because they had an hourly rate but because they were efficient the rate wasn't as bad as I feared.

They handled the job well and the work was fine. They were prompt, professional, and courteous. I would use them again if needed.

I've used them before and the first time they were really good. This last experience wasn't such a great experience. They have previously installed some ceiling fans and rewired some of the wiring. I have a crazy wiring system in my house and they worked on wiring some of the light switches.

I am very pleased with the service they provided. They arrived right on time (to the minute) and were very polite. Also they quoted the lowest rate per hour than several other companies I called. The estimate provided over the phone was exactly what it cost. I highly recommend this company; I would definitely do business with them again.

United Electric did a fine job. I've used them before, and they did a good job then, too. They fixed the meters to my satisfaction, so I was happy with that.
