Hands down the best service provider I've ever worked with. Gary treated my cabinets like it was going in his house. Always explained everything to me, always on time and did a great job.

Gary painted the stained cabinets in our kitchen. I couldn't be any happier with the results! Every time I walk into my new kitchen I smile. Gary is professional and does remarkable work. I recommend him highly.

We are very pleased with Gary and his painting services.  He was prompt, professional, and very committed to quality work.  His experience REALLY showed by the way he handled the job overall.  My wife and I needed an update on our kitchen, and we debated over how to handle the updates.  As a fairly accomplished "Bob Vila type", I considered doing the DIY thing, but BOY ARE WE GLAD WE DIDN'T.  After watching Gary's multiple step process, and the diligence and finess he brought to the job, we realized this is definitely a job you pay for if you want it to look right.  There were a few curveballs, as in most jobs, and Gary handled them without problem or complaint, even custom building in a shelf for my wife's cookbooks without any "change' fee or additional charges!  This is rare, but it is clear Gary takes pride in his work, and runs his business with integrity.  The price was not the 'absolute cheapest' around, but was half of one of the bids we received from another professional company.  I'm convinced Sunrise was the best quality for the money we could have found.  Thanks Gary!

Gary quoted us to repaint our kitchen cabinets the same day he came out for the estimate.  He was on time every morning and worked full days to get the job done.  He was very friendly and kept the house clean while working.  We absolutely love our "new" kitchen cabinets.  We have gotten so many compliments on our cabinets and have referred him to many of our friends. After painting the cabinets he painted almost every room of our house.   Hope to use him in the future to redo our bathroom cabinets.  I would highly recommend Gary!

We called in the morning, and he arrived for an estimate that afternoon at the agreed time. He offered reasonable suggestions for the job and  wasn't pushy about anything. His estimate was done right on the spot, then he emailed a formal proposal that evening. The price didn't change a penny during the job.
When the job started, he arrived at the front door the exact minute (no kidding) he said he would and started work right away. He put in a full day every day he was here and cleaned up behind himself at the end of each day. The job went quicker than I anticipated with MUCH less fuss and bother than with other workmen I've used in the past. 
The actual work done was top notch and turned out exactly like he said it would. No surprises, no extra costs, no unnecessary inconvenience to us.
I would not hesitate to use his services again and recommend him with no reservations. The ceiling and cabinets are absolutely beautiful.

Gary at Sunrise truly cares about his work and it shows. He
painted my existing maple kitchen cabinets and the final result is spectacular.
It looks like it came from the factory painted. He is one of the few
contractors who is punctual, returns calls/emails and actually does what he says.
He is an extremely hard worker and will do what it takes to get the job done. He
was putting in anywhere from 8-14hr days on the weekend in order to minimize my
time without kitchen access. He is very meticulous and thorough.
Gary uses a special paint from Sherwin Williams (not
available at their retail stores) and he primes, sands, primes, sands, top coat
and 2nd top coat. The result is a perfectly smooth very hard surface
that looks great. Everything is sprayed and he carefully tapes off everything
and encloses the area where he is working to minimize paint smell and dust to
the rest of the house.  His many years of
experience paid off in my case when he was able to determine he had received
defective paint from the factory prior to painting, based on the smell and other
testing he did. The Sherwin Williams agreed with him and fixed the paint,
saving me from finding out something was wrong after everything was painted.
He did a wonderful job and I am thankful to have found his
company.

We purchased a new home with a drab, all brown kitchen, which desperately needed updating. After finding Gary Vestovich on this site and reading his reviews we called him a left a message.  He returned our call within a few hours, and was on our doorstep at 8am the next morning.  We showed him the cabinet doors and drawers that we wanted to be repainted and finished professionally, and discussed his methods and paints.  Two days later he picked up all 43 doors and 1 week after that they came back a beautiful white, with a smooth rock hard finish,  He was professional, timely and honest, and delivered the product we paid for. Highly recommend, and would use him again.

Gary is an absolute professional!  He was perfectly on time for the selected day of the quote and painting day.  Gary is extremely knowledgeable regarding his craft and answered all my questions and made recommendations on the type of finish best suited for our space and needs.
Gary took the time to fix the mistakes from the previous owners handy work and the job came out excellent.  His price was fair and inline with other quotes for the same services.  I would highly recommend his services and will call on him again in the future if the need arises!

I am preparing this home for the market , and everything is 20 years old, from the cabinetry finishes to the paint colors on the walls. Gary's price for repainting the cabinets, which were still in good condition, was less than replacing them so I decided to use him because he seemed very honest, knowledgeable, and experienced. When I asked for an estimate on painting the walls he gave me what I consider a reasonable number. He took a little longer than some to complete the work, but being a perfectionist myself, I appreciated his attention to detail. The final phase of his work was complicated by a lack of water supply ( due to installation of new countertops) but he took it in stride and got by using a neighbor's garden hose. I appreciated his patience and professionalism.

Found Gary on Craigslist. I left a message and he called me back within 2 hours and came over for an estimate that evening. I had a couple estimates done and he was right in the middle for pricing. He did two coats on all walls and did a GREAT job. On time every morning and very professional. Nice guy, I can't recommend him enough!
