The owner of the company contacted me immediately after request for site visit/estimate. Then as the scheduled date approached he followed up 24 hours in advance to confirm appointment & also showed up on time. He then provided quote on site & accepted deposit to secure installation date/equipment. The process was efficient & allowed me to continue my day as planned.

Nick Rosado is the "go to guy". I called him in when three other places couldn't figure out how to do it. The Automation field rep for Control4 referred me to him as their "fix it" guy. He works with all the newest home automation and is making it work!!! He researched what was out there (on his time and didn't bill me for his learning curve), figured out how to do things that no one else could. He multi-tasks so he doesn't waste time. He bills for what he does. If he is running wires, he bills labor rates; if he is doing simple alarm work, he bills at another rate, and if he is doing complex tasks, he bills at another. He seems to always find the latest and greatest for the best prices, passes the savings along to customers, bills at fair prices, and is not satisfied unless it is done right. He is a Marine and proudly carries that distinction. He is still working for us continuing his work and is providing even better solutions to problems that no one else could solve. He even found a way to mount an Xbox360 so that not one wire shows and the wall just looks clean and neat. Pros: He is an honest professional who proudly represents what one things of as a Marine. He knows what he knows, figures out what he doesn't and tells the truth. Cons: He is the go to guy and when you want the best, you may have to wait a few days. He is worth the wait. Even when he was running three other "emergency" jobs, he still managed to drive over an hour, pick up a FedEx package for a special part, install it, and work until 2:00 in the morning to make sure that my medical alarm system was working properly. What can I honestly say: I have managed companies with 8000 people and he would be my go to guy. He is honest enough for me to let him work in my house when I am away, vacuums when he is done, wears "booties" to protect the floors, and I am still having hime do more work for me. If there is a complaint it is that there are not two of him so that they could both work for me. I expect the best and don't tolerate anything but the truth. that describes what Mr. Rosado and Smart Homes strives to be.
