Sears Stores - Jacksonville

My experience with Sears was sub-optimal.  They were called and an appointment set up.  The technician came on time and from the information provided by the computer code, replaced a part.  When he left the machine was working but the same problem (computer code) came back about 3 days later.  We called Sears and the same technician returned a second time and said that we would need an additional part which would take a little more than a week to get.  The technician arrived a third time and replaced the additional part which did not correct the problem.  At that point he called on his phone for help from their more expert technicians.  Sears then decided the machine was not repairable.  Now, how is it possible that Sears has a repair service that is unable to repair their own machines?  They sell them, offer to service them, and throw in the towel because they are stumped.  The machine was about 5 years old, not new, but certainly not old.  After being on being on the phone with his manager, the technician told my wife that we would be refunded the charges on our credit card above and beyond the cost of a service call charge because they could not fix it.  Not true.  I called them multiple times and have not gotten satisfaction.
The next time I need an appliance repair, it will not be Sears that I call, even if it is for a Kenmore appliance.  Not ever.

Went into the sears store to purchase new mower blades. Not sure where they were located I asked the sears employee. He took me over to the mower section asked what kind of mower I owned. He picked the blades out I needed and said he could check me out at the cash register.

They were fine and we would use them again. My husband dealt with them.

We've just returned from Japan, to our home where we had renters.  I just replaced the washer and dryer with Sears equipment.  The installers were wonderful.  They took out the old appliances, and put them on the street so my daughter could pick them up. They were prompt and professional.  I was very pleased, and would purchase appliances from Sears in the future.

They were very fast, helpful and explained everything. I felt comfortable with them and the options that they were giving me. They also had some good rebates and cash back incentives. I would use them again in the future.
