Awful. Just awful. They were rude, disrespectful, and did a very crappy job on my yard.

CAUTION—STAY AWAY FROM SAFARI. Safari not only provided the worst lawn service I have ever used, but it is the worst and most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. We hired Safari to take control of a few areas of dollar weeds in our front lawn. Safari's sales person came out and did an initial analysis and confirmed they could get rid of the weeds. But he cautioned that with the summer heat they would need to be careful not to over apply herbicide, as the combination could be deadly for the lawn. The first service was performed that week. The technician left a service report on the front door indicating that fertilizer, but not herbicide to kill the weeds, had been applied. I called the salesperson and asked why the technician had not treated the weeds. The salesperson apologized and explained that the technician was "new" and simply made a mistake entering what chemicals had been applied in the system. He confirmed however that the herbicides had in fact been applied. About two weeks later, Safari performed a follow-up treatment. The technician left another report, this time confirming that he had treated the lawn with herbicides targeting the dollar weeds. The following days, the temperature spiked into the upper 90’s, and the area of the lawn where the dollar weeds had been quickly turned scorched brown. I called the sales person again and asked him to come out as soon as possible to observe the problem. I confirmed the rest of the lawn was fine, and that I had been watering adequately. I reminded him of the concern he had raised during our first meeting about over applying the herbicide in the hot weather. The sales person was not able to come out until two days later. By then, the grass was completely dead in the area that had been treated. When he finally did come out, he said that a “lawn mower” had killed the grass, and that Safari’s treatment had nothing to do with it. I explained that the lawn mower had not even over the grass until the day before—after I initially called to complain that the grass looked dead. I also pointed out again that only the grass in the treated area of the lawn was dead. I demanded to speak with a manager. The manager came out and gave me the same story about the lawn mower, pointing to the visible mower tracks in the grass. Of course there were signs where the tracks had passed over the stressed grass and done additional damage, but he offered no explanation for the huge patch of dead grass where the dollar weeds had been treated. He also had not rationale for why the lawnmower only damaged the area that had been treated or the fact that the lawn mower, the heat, the watering had stayed the same as always, and Safari’s lawn treatment was the only thing new. Anyway, he refused to offer any solution for the damage. Frustrated, I immediately canceled my service. Incredibly, though, Safari still sent me an invoice for the month. When I called to explain that I felt Safari owed me money and not the other way around, they said to pay or they would send to the invoice to collections. Of course I refused. Never before have I had this kind of a dispute with a company, nor has any bill of mine been sent to collections. If you care about your lawn or your credit, I cannot caution you enough to stay away from this company!

They're okay. They had an increase in termite treatment, I don't like it. The quality is very nice.

Since switching to Safari to fertilize and treat the weeds in our yard it has greatly improved in two years.  The grass is much thicker, great weed control and the grass is always so green.   They come as scheduled, and we have had no problems.  I would highly recommend them.

We hired this company approximately 8 months ago as the previous lawn care company was doing a poor job.   Our lawn was looking really bad.   We hired this company to come by every month to treat out lawn.  Since they have been coming our lawn looks so much better.  It is much greener, grass much thicker with more control of the weeds.   I would highly recommend.  We are very happy with their work.

Safari was very responsive to my online request for an estimate. They called me right away and scheduled a technician to come out and give the estimate. He was prompt and courteous, and the prices were very fair. He recommended a landscaper to assist with the sod replacement we needed who was also on Angie's list and very reasonably priced.

I just moved to Jacksonville and totally redid my home from outside to in. The entire lawn was sodded and hundreds of plants planted. I wa looking for a lawn fertilization company and someone recommended Safari. It turned out that my son-in-law had just hired them same company that same week. They offer an amazing deal for a year treatment of both turf and plants. Also look online on their website for more coupons.
I called and they came out the next day to give me an estimate. I accepted it and signed on for a year of monthly treatments. The rest is history. My lawn looks amazing and I couldn't be more pleased.
Rich the Manager is very responsive to any issues and will give personal attention. I would highly recommend Safari for any lawncare.

I love them as their service is reliable and if I have an issue afterwards they will come right back out without charging me. They are very responsive and the owner has also come out when I had problems with carpenter ants. I rarely ever have a roach or silverfish in my house. They have not raised their prices in years. They are always here the day they say that they would come. They call me the day before they come which is good since I have dogs. By doing this I can make sure the dogs are in while they are working. They are very good and they make sure the gates are closed and not left open while the dogs are out. I would recommend them to others. I would use them again in the future.
