Description of Complaint: Robert Jones was hired by my general contractor to perform a complete re-wire of my 1920's house. My contract clearly stated that the entire house was to be re-wired and brought to code.The electrician who performed the work was Robert Jones. Upon completion of the job, Robert confirmed with me that there was a 1 year warranty of his work. Robert was very professional while on site.Immediately following completion of the work, I noticed major issues. The service he ran to my exterior and garage lights would only stay on for 2-5 minutes before tripping. Robert came back and insisted he fixed the problem, yet, 10 minutes after leaving, the same issue returned. In addtion, I paid $75 to a repair man to fix my non-functioning dishwasher. When the repair man removed the dishwasher it was clear it had never been wired at all. Robert confirmed with me via telephone on 1/27/2012 that he in fact had not wired the dishwasher. It is mine and my attorney's opinion that based on the work contract, the dishwasher would clearly fall under the umbrella of a "complete rewire." When I attempted to contact Robert to fix these issues he missed scheduled appointments without notifying me and refused to answer or return  all of my correspondence for over a week. When he finally answered on 1/27/2012 Robert informed me that he would only agree to come if I paid him a service fee for "gas money."Robert Jones is clearly not concerned with the quality of his work  or honoring promised warranties. I was forced to hire other electricians to complete the job Robert refused to completely properly. I would not recommend his work to anyone.
