Robert Beese Tile

Robert did a great job! I have an older home which can sometimes present unexpected problems. He was very familiar with the construction methods used and had no issues. Quality of work is top notch! I plan on redoing my bathroom at some point, I will call Robert.

Robert did an excellent job on our tile. He even covered over a switch and phone jack that we no longer needed - drywall patch and mudded over - and adjusted a cabinet that was not level. The tile looks great! Robert is thorough, respectful, and cleans up after himself. In the near future, I expect to hire him to clean and seal my granite countertops.

Robert did an excellent job sealing and regrouting my tile. He was professional and and very knowledgeable. My tile was full of mildew and would never get clean no matter how much i scrubbed it. Robert cleaned, regrouted and sealed it properly. It looks brand new. Many thanks to Robert.

Wonderful contractor. A real craftsman that is hard to find anymore. Reliable, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. He called me back the same day I first contacted him. We set up the work to be done. About two weeks later (as promised) he called to make the exact appointment. Showing up on time, he accomplished the work and left the area clean and perfect. The price was reasonable and work was excellent.

I am very pleased with Robert's quality of work . He was prompt and very flexible in adjusting his schedule when the tiles ordered through a store didn't arrive on time. He worked diligently and completed the job on schedule despite the off and on rain showers. He maintained throughout a positive and cheerful disposition!!!

I moved into a house about a year ago that had been "flipped." Most of the repair/replace work done on the house was good. However, when the master shower was retiled, the floor was not sloped properly. In fact, there was a grout dam around the drain which made the drain opening higher than the floor itself. From the moment I first used the shower, I knew the floor needed to be replaced. I discovered Robert Beese Tile here on Angie's List. I contacted Robert and because he is in such demand, it took a while for him to come out to give me an estimate. But when I met him, I knew I wanted to use him. I'd contacted other tile companies, but I was impressed with his openness and honesty from the start. Again, because he is in such demand, it took a while for him to work me into his schedule. But when he committed to a day and time, he showed up. The work had to be done in 3 separate steps, and he performed it exactly when he promised. The shower now drains perfectly. Before, water would sometimes still be standing 24 hours after I'd used the shower. Now, the floor is perfectly dry within an hour or so. I highly recommend Robert Beese Tile. You may have to wait for him to work you in, but you won't be disappointed.

Robert was very accommodating. He came out to my house on a Sunday and was very punctual! I had the wrong tile and he went to Home Depot and got the right tile for me then came right back and did the repair. His price was just right too! Very fair price compared to what I had been quoted by others. I was 110% SATISFIED with the repair and would definitely recommend Robert Beese Tile and will use them again for any future tile projects.

Mr. Beese and his crew are knowledgeable,friendly, courteous and cooperative.. They kept me informed of what they were doing every step of the way. It is worth noting that Robert was on the job with his crew the entire time.

This is the second time I have used Mr. Beese for a tile project (The first time was several years ago in a previous house).  For this occasion, my Wife and I had just bought a house approximately a month earlier, and with that, the previous owners problems....The tiled shower in the upstairs bathroom did not appear to be done correctly.  None of the tiles were straight, or flat for that matter, and mildew appeared to be growing at the point where the tile meets the top of the tub. Grout was missing in this area and was a cause for concern. In the master shower, grout appeared to be missing between the very small square tiles which made up the floor of the shower.    I contacted Mr. Beese and asked if he could make the long haul (About 45 minutes) to my new house and take a look at my issues.

Mr. Beese arrived within a day or two and assured me the issues with the master bath were merely cosmetic and posed no threat to water damage.  Mr. Beese inspected the upstairs bathroom and agreed the tiles within the shower were not laid correctly.  We agreed on a price and the Wife and I were off to the tile store.

As Mr. Beese began removing the old tiles, he noticed water had been leaking between the tile and top of the tub, because the area had not been properly water proofed (I could see the mildew on the insulation behind the wall).  Mr. Beese also noticed the the walls behind the shower had not been framed correctly (Which is why there was so much flex within the walls.  On one particular wall, the concrete board was not even attached to a stud.  On top of all this, the back wall to the shower bowed inward, which is one reason the original tile job looked so uneven).  Needless to say, several projects on our list were now going to be on hold.

Mr. Beese and I agreed on a price to get my upstairs bathroom done correctly, the way it should have been done when the house was built.   Mr. Beese reframed my bathroom correctly, installed new sheetrock, waterproofed the area correctly and installed new drywall (Outside of the shower area, still within the bathroom).  Then Mr. Beese installed the tile my Wife selected.  The results....AMAZING. 

Mr. Beese, again, did such a great job, and I can rest easy knowing the job was done correctly.  My Wife almost cried the shower looked so beautiful (Happy Wife, happy life).  Mr. Beese is the only person I will use to do any type of tile work in my house and the only person I would recommend to anyone.  Note:  Mr. Beese is also the only person I have ever allowed to do work at my house with me being home.....I trust him completely.  Hard to put a price tag on that.

Pleased with the final outcome, looks like new. Robert also cleaned all the tile and faucet. Very professional and explained everything In great detail. He exceeded  my expectations.

I cannot recommend Mr. Beese highly enough. I was in utter shock when he answered the phone when I called. After I described the work to be done he said he could come that very day due to some slack in his schedule. He and his employee were careful to keep the bathroom floor protected so as to keep that area clean. He was very polite and professional at all times. I had selected Mr. Beese due to the excellent reviews he had received and also because I had seen that he was willing to tackle small jobs like this as well as bigger ones.

Very very well.  Robert called and gave me a variety of options to deal with our shower and we made the decision to replace the shower with a better draining system to get a quality product that would last many years and be an upgrade for the home. Robert was quick, efficient, personable, responsive and very professional. He took care of the whole project from start to end communicating with plumbers and glass companies that contributed to the project.  I got a very upgraded shower at a great price (he got some nice upgrades on the shower glass for no additional price and did more then what was promised in the  quote at no additional cost.  He also repaired another broken tile in my home for no additional cost. I recommend him highly and would certainly use him again.

All the work was done in a very timely, professional manner. I was able to reach Robert and discuss details of the job easily.  His crew was well trained and careful.  They cleaned up every day.  All in all it was a very pleasant experience and I am extremely satisfied with the results.

Can't say enough good things about Mr. Beese. He called me back right away and was very punctual. He and his employee covered the floor with tarps to keep work area clean. He did an outstanding job replacing some broken tile and matching 10 year old grout. He was very polite and friendly and was very easy to work with.  Mr. Beese will get any tile work that I may have in the future and I have no problem recommending him to friends.

We were closing on a new home in Nocatee on a Tuesday and I had scheduled Mr. Beese to come out the very next day and seal the grout on our tile which was throughout our 2,000 square foot house.  I decided to go with him based on the reviews he got on Angie's List and Mr. B did not disappoint us. 
The day before our closing, I called him to confirm what time he would be out on Wednesday.  I also asked if the floors needed to  be cleaned in advance.  He said they would and I realized that would be a crunch for us to do it Tuesday night.  I asked Mr. B if he could do it for us and he came down to our house after working all day on Tuesday and met me at 7pm to mop the floors with a special cleaner.  He only charged an extra $100 to do that for us at the last minute.  Thank goodness he did.  We had a lot of other work to do Tuesday night and would've been up all night.
He came back with another worker on Wednesday and applied the sealer.  They were both very professional and thorough.  Mr. B is a perfectionist and made sure the high traffic area in the kitchen was done twice.  We will have him back to reseal the grout when it's due.  We may also use him to build a tile seat in a shower.  Visit his website at: http://robertbeesetile.liveonatt.com/ and see pictures of  the beautiful work he's done.

We were having a problem with tiles popping as we walked over them in certain areas of our house. I had another tile company (with a very good Angie's List rating) come in and was told that nothing could be done except replace all of the tile in the house. I called Robert for another opinion and I was glad that I did. He cut the grout line which relieved the pressure and allow the tiles to settle. He then re-grouted the areas and the problem seems to be fixed. The repair was $225.00 compared to $12,000.00 for the total replacement. Robert was a very honest and straightforward person. I will definitely contact him in the future if I need additional tile work.

Robert installed my kitchen backsplash, I supplied the tile and I picked out each tile as natural stone varies. He did a perfect job as he really takes pride in his work. He is courteous and professional and offers design ideas as he has a lot of experience. Call ahead of time to get on his schedule as he is very busy but is well worth any wait. I cannot attest to any of the work of his staff as my job was small and Robert did all if the work himself. I'm sure they would need to meet his high standards. I would highly recommend Robert though, he did a great job.

Robert Beese is incredibly professional. He take pride in his work and in his business. We called a few different companies to do tile work, and we didn't find anyone else like Robert. He called us back right away, came to our house to give us an estimate, and went over everything with us in detail. In the end, we decicded to go with hardwood floors instead of tile. Our decision was based on wanting to match the rest of the house, nothing to do with Robert. We'll eventually do some tile work in a bathroom, and Robert is the man we'll call.

Robert was the first iling contractor to call me back after I contacted 2-3 others. He was courteous and professional from the beginning. When the job became difficult to complete, because we had supplied a box of the wrong tiles, he called us in the evening to help us solve the problem. We followed his recommendation, though he never pushed any specific solution. Robert created the affect of a rug with diagonal tiles inside a mosaic border to make up for the lack of matching tiles. Our job went from a boring repair job to a beautiful home improvement. Our realtor is certain Robert's design will sell our unit. Robert, his son Robert, Jr. and his other employee were the best contractors my husband and I have ever hired.

My wife and I purchased our house two years ago.  The residence was built in 2006.  Immediately we noticed the original owner had attempted to "fix" the grout in the kitchen.  Unfortunately, the "Fix" didn't match the original color.  We also noticed several areas (Dining room, hallway, kitchen) where the grout was cracking.  On two separate occasions I paid people to regrout the above listed areas.  Each time the work looked worse and worse, to the point I just figured that was the best it could look unless I wanted the entire area retiled ($5K). 
Eventually, loose tiles in our hallway "Popped" up a volcano.  I searched Angies list for tile guy, but I did not want some large company that would send out an employee who could not care less about my house.  I found Mr. Beese and gave him a call.  I asked him his availability and he said "Three weeks".  I asked if he recommended anyone and he said "No, no one cares about their work anymore so I do not recommend people anymore."  After that statement, I knew he was my guy.  And thinking about it, do you really want the tile guy who is available tomorrow, or the guy who is so busy with customers you are three weeks out.
Mr. Beese came out several days before he was scheduled to fix my tile so he could get an idea of the work that was needed.  He was very professional and upfront with his pricing and it was immediately obvious he took pride in his work.  On the day the work was to be completed, Mr. Beese arrived on time.  Mr. Beese took the time and effort necessary to do the job right.  Final price matched the estimate and very fair.  I could not believe how good the repaired grout looked.  I waited appriximately three weeks to give this review because I wanted to see if any issues arose with the work Mr. Beese performed.  The grout still looks beautiful and seemless.

Contacted and returned my call the next day.  Estimate in line with my estimate.  Prompt, kept to schedule, recommended modification that worked better than expected.  Left everyday with area cleaned to perfection.  Very courteous and humble....very pleased with the work and have received many compliments on its appearance.
