I did a master bath and the sink and countertop for a second bathroom. The best thing they did was have a designer come out to estimate the job. She helps me solve a lot of awkward issues in my bathroom, such as the door swinging open to be within an inch of the toilet and a toilet paper roll. that was hard to reach from the toilet. Came up with a great design to remove the big garden tub and install a walk-in shower with a bench. The job supervisor was here often making sure that I was happy with the work. They even changed a couple of things to make the final project to my liking. The bathroom looks beautiful!

From start to finish, our experience exceeded our expectations. Nick, Project Superintendent, was a strong and professional ally of ours. The tradesmen he brought into our house were friendly, industrious and very customer oriented. The finished product is fantastic.

The job was done to our satisfaction and on time. The team of Hank and Evan did an excellent job of keeping the project on track and us informed of what was going on. Communication was excellent. The contractor, Albert, did a great job he was always on time and his work was excellent.

We had a great experience with Nick and the Rafael team, and we love our kitchen! Albert's work in particular was very high quality. Nick was super organized and communicative throughout the various phases of the project. We always knew what to expect; who would be here and when. Nick was courteous, professional, and very resourceful in creating solutions when challenges arose. He's a gem! We highly recommend Rafael.

I am very pleased with Rafael Inc. I started off with Billy who was open and honest about the process of remodeling my Master Bathroom. He gave unsolicited advice and suggestions. After getting quotes from 2 other companies, I decided to go with Rafael Inc. My project manager, Nic, was very professional and respectful. The contractors were also professional and respectful. They kept the area clean. They made sure I was please with the work. The product and material used were of good quality. Nik kept me inform of all the steps and all changes. I am amazed with the outcome, it brought tears to my eyes. This was my first project and I feel comfortable in using them again.

Billy listened to what we wanted and came up with a perfect design. Once the project started Nicholas kept it on schedule and kept us informed every step of the way. The workers were professional and considerate. The quality of materials and work is top notch. We could not be more pleased with our bathroom remodel.

Subcontractor showed up to the job without any equipment. Nothing that Project Manager says happens. Company is unable to keep any type of schedule; they say they will be at the house at a specific time for you to schedule appropriately and will bail out at the last minute. The supervisor always has excuses and he has not been at the job since the job started. The sales representatives are good but the work is sloppy, unprofessional, and egregious. UPDATE: The project is now complete. The finished result is beautiful and exactly what we wanted! Rafael Inc gave us a new Project Manager and my wife and I fired the subcontractor. Rafael Inc assigned us a new subcontractor (Simon/Joseph/Paul). With an all-new cast, things began to move in the right direction. Communication improved, work was done properly with care, and they worked tirelessly to complete the project. I want to give 5 stars for their work quality. The cabinets are beautiful, level, and every correction I needed was taken care of. Rafael Inc took accountability for their work and initial subcontractor mistakes. I wish that the entire process went as smoothly as the last few weeks. Unfortunately, we had a rough start, contractor no-shows, egregious time delays, and poor craftsmanship for the first 2.5 months that cannot be overlooked. This initial level of stress and oversight on our part brought down the value for money. Rough start, strong finish, and we are happy overall.

They were very professional and detail oriented. Their design staff was the ultimate in knowledge of product, trends, and color matching. The 3D drawings were fabulous. Given that there was a Covid crisis going on, they worked through it and provided me with excellent service and communication. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for any type of remodeling.

The 13 x 13 bathroom remodel took 13 months to complete. When we put down our deposit in August, we were told it would be finished in November. The crew assigned to our project (EP Construction) would show up periodically with the exception of Pavlin. He did an awesome job with the tile. Rafael Inc. appears to have no control of their sub contractors. They show up one day, then not again for 2 weeks, etc. Unless you have a lot of time to wait for a project to be completed, I would go elsewhere. Because of their unprofessional work ethics, Rafael Inc. lost out on two other remodeling projects for us. After several email requests and a visit to the showroom, we have not received a final copy of our last payment and sign-off sheet. We do not recommend.

We contracted w/Rafael, Inc. In September. 2020 to remodel our master bathroom. We were advised that they would start in November. 2020. They did not start until April 2021. We had to contact an attorney. We were given the names of several project supervisors and when we were able to speak with one of them, they had no answers. We were advised that Covid was the reason for the extensive delay. Covid was part of the problem but not all. They took 50% of the total cost of the remodel and literally held us and our money hostage for 7 months. If it had not been for the attorney we hired, we firmly believe we would still be waiting. We were finally given Jerry as our project supervisor. He was good and he tried to make things as right as he could. Another reason for the 2 star review. Our bathroom looks really nice. We can not recommend this company to anyone. Bottom line, shop around before you sign on there dotted line.

Rafael Inc remodeled our master bathroom in Sept-Oct 2020, and we LOVE it! The design process was easy as their designer, Jay, listenend to us and picked out beautiful materials like we wanted. They were upfront with all costs and covered every detail about our job so we knew what to expect and what was in the scope (no surprise extra costs, which we appreciated). Julian, our project manager, and the crews were great, especially Antonio and Ruben. The job took a little longer than expected, which we had heard is common with remodels and COVID didn't help. Julian kept us informed of any changes and he and his crew worked with our schedules to get the job done. He made sure we were happy with all of the work until the final sign-off. This was our first remodel project, and we're thrilled with the results! Thank you!

I can't say enough positive things about the people and experience we had at Rafael. Finally a contracting company that shows they care about the customer. From the beginning they were very upfront, including being honest that they would have charged more for a remodel that was already completed than the other contractor did. The difference in experience was worth every bit of it. From the design process to the actual build and they way speed bumps in the project were handled, it was a professional and positive experience. The actual work was fantastic as well. The crews were a pleasure to be around, I commented to my wife when the project was finished that I would miss seeing them. Again, very professional and quality work. Highly recommend.

The salesman came and quoted an estimate of $5-15k for my project. He asked me to pay a $1500 design fee to have an engineer come and make drawings. After that, the cost quoted was $55k, more than ten times the lower range I was told before signing up. Then they said despite paying $1500 I do not have access to the engineering blueprints since they were in house and proprietary, and therefore I cannot even use them to get another estimate.

"When we came out, we spoke about your French Doors being in the range of $5-15k, but the other work required would be more, and we needed our structural engineer to determine what needs to be done to be able to do the complete scope and price. You signed the agreement, which not only explained that it explained that the design is for our purposes and that it is non-refundable. We are very upfront about how we proceed with structural issues, and we stand behind our scopes of work, pricing, and finished quality work."

Unprofessional and messy paint job. One of the painters was good, but the other was horrible. Drip marks on trim everywhere, carpet close to base boards had drops of paint and edge painted white. No drop cloths were used. Base board paint is coming off already due to improper sanding before applying paint. Were supposed to do two coats everywhere, said that's what they did, but still had missing spots where old paint showed through. This would not happen if it was two coats. They fixed when I pointed this out, but I shouldn't have had to follow up like this. Stain from can all over countertops
