"Prior to starting the work, we discussed the various materials that could be used to repair the exterior windows as the windows had rotten because of prior poor materials and workmanship. The homeowner elected to use a PVC material called Azek and stainless steel nails. In other areas, we used copper flashing. The homeowner was aware of the expense of these materials before the contract was signed. We did everything agreed upon at the agreed upon price. We do not recall any battles and felt we had a cordial working relationship. We were never informed that there was paint on the screens but would have been happy to resolve the matter if it had been brought to our attention. The homeowner said she asked the subcontractor how much he was getting paid. This speaks volumes about the homeowner, going behind the contractor's back and wanting to know what people were getting paid. We were on the site every day and did not have an appointed time to be there to be late for. We have no recollection of any arguments with the homeowner. The contract was performed exactly as contracted and in a timely manner."
