R G WHITE CONSTRUCTION

His name was Bob White. The product is great and the work was great, but dealing with him was the biggest pain that I have ever lived with in my life and we have built 4 custom homes. An electrician referred him to us and said that he does a lot of Victorian remodel homes. He apparently does a lot of remodels in the historic section. What we needed to have done required a lot of craftsmanship and we have no complaint with that. We found out that we were paying him twice what we would have had to pay anyone else. We went out and priced it later. He's full of himself. We got into battles with him at the end because he didn't think he had to paint it since it was white. It was white but he got it dirty putting it up and he needed to cover the nail holes. It was in the contract and he was trying to get out of it and stuff like that. His painter got paint all over our screens so it was not a good experience at all. He had a subcontractor doing the work and the subcontractor said he wasn't paying him near that much. We argued about how he was cutting out the windows because it allowed too much moisture to get in. He was a very, very difficult individual. All of the contractors that we were using him knew him. He never gives you options and gives you the most complex and expensive solution. We hardly saw him and he was always late. We would never use him again. He was argumentative on everything.
