Pet Paradise Resort

My lab loves to go and play at camp time during the day. He swims in the pool with his new friends. Always come back happy and clean. There are plenty of counselors that stay with the dogs when they are together. They also interact with the dogs and are very friendly.

When I first boarded my pet the staff was very friendly and helpful. The environment was also very clean. I have boarded my dog several times since and my dog has been well taken care of. I have an older dog which have medical problems and they have addressed all of my concerns. I feel comfortable boarding my dog there and I feel they are taking good care of him. ( I.M)

The facility is very clean and the staff very friendly. I saw a lot of people working and playing with the dogs. Gumbo left me without a second thought. I left him for several hours and upon my return I was given pictures of his play time as well as a "report card" regarding his demeanor and playmates. I am thoroughly impressed with Pet Paradise at Jacksonville Airport and have no reservations leaving Gumbo here. Dawn (and Gumbo)

I have owned 2 dogs in the past 9 years, my first one passed away in 2015 and I adopted my new rescue dog in March of this year.. I have been boarding my dogs at this location for over 9 years now. My first dog must have stayed at this location for over 350 nights in his 7 years with me. I can't tell you how excited he got whenever we arrived to drop him off. He loved it there and they loved him. I never ever had a problem, and one stay they even personally took him to my vet when he got sick. I never ever had to be concerned about him, and they sent emails and photos everyday about his day. He was about as stubborn a dog as could be, and they also teased me about how they had to go get him out of the pool because he loved it in there! Now my new rescue dog had never really been around people and other dogs to play, and has come so far in the few months I have had to leave him there, it is amazing. They take such great care of him and fawn all over him he now loves it as much as my first dog did.His true personality is shinning through and he is loving life! I highly recommend this location and all of the people who work there..I may pay a little moire boarding him there than other places, but no other place gives you all of the amenities and quality care and first class service. I travel a lot for my job, it is so important that I do not have to worry one second about my dog when I am gone. I know he is loving every second of his stay.

They take very good care of my three dogs!!! I don't have to worry about them when I'm away.

My dog has been here previously and it always goes very well. Staff treats him well and he has the opportunity to socialize with other dogs.

We loved loved! They are great! We will be using them for boarding in a few weeks.  Such an amazing place.  There is always someone with the dogs through out the day.  They also have daycare for dogs as well.

Best kennel in Jax. We'd highly recommend. A+

The facility is very clean. I was very satisfied and I will definitely use them again. I will recommend them to my family and friends. I worked with them more in person and they were very helpful. They were nice over the phone as well.

The facility is very nice, but more pricey than other boarding facilities in the area. We took our own food for our dogs. They require you to pre bag it for each feeding. I've never been asked to do that before at any other kennel. Seems a big waste of bags. One of our dogs threw up in the kennel and when we brought them home, they both needed a bath because they had gotten the vomit on their coats. I would use them again as a last resort, but wouldn't be my first choice.

I felt the facilities were quite good and clean. I chose Pet Paradise because I wanted my dogs to have plenty of and quot;outside and pooland quot; time. I definitely didn't want the dogs stuck in a cage most of the day. One of the girls there did a great job cutting and grooming both dogs - they both looked fabulous!! My big concern with Pet Paradise was when I dropped off and picked up Bear and Lily, I felt the employees weren't friendly or welcoming at all. On both occasions, no one ever smiled or seemed happy the dogs were there. That was very disappointing to me.

We dropped of the pets the day before we left for Tampa, FL they were received and we gave final care instructions while we were signing them into the facility. Since the dogs do not get along we asked that they not be placed close to each other. The staff assured us that they would be in separate areas of the facility. Both had stayed in the care of Pet Paradise before (The Jacksonville airport location) so we were familiar with the check- in procedure. I believe Lucy was to receive a bath before we were coming back to pick them up. She also was placed where the smallest dogs would be kept. Pick up was easy and quick and we were able to schedule pick up on Sunday morning. The dogs seemed happy and excited to see us. Lucy had her bath the day before. We have already made reservations for their stay during this next 2013 holiday season. The boarding fees seem high, but since the dogs are well treated and in a safe comfortable place, the fees are worth the peace of mind. Kennels in my area of Jacksonville fill up early and unless you are able to plan really far ahead the good ones are unavailable. Pet Paradise is a large facility and we have not experienced being turned away because they have reached capacity. This year, they have started requiring a $50 deposit for each dog's reservation during the peak holiday season and I was required to pay this even though we are returning clients. A small discount for long term stays or two dogs of the same family might be something the facility should consider.

They are responsible in feeding the dogs. Also, they provide a swimming pool for a fun 1 hr. daily. They have fresh water machines in their suites. This pet resort has artificial grass suites, so you don't have to worry about flees. They offer a patio with grass , so the dogs can play 1 to 2 hrs. everyday or every another day. It depends on how much you are willing to pay for a play date . It is very expensive the fun hours. Our dogs loved the 2 weeks vacation.

We have a large dog with several challenges so we were looking for a doggie daycare and boarding facility. We heard good things about Pet Paradise, so we visited, then tested, then fell in love with them! Orion has severe separation anxiety, but he loves being there with all the other dogs and wonderful people. The few times we've had to leave him overnight, they sat with him at night to keep him happy, then learned he was happiest when he could see them 24/7, so they moved him to a room from which he can always see a person. It was a brilliant solution that came about because they pay so much attention to the dogs there!
Orion goes there one or two days a week now for daycare. He's been going for almost a year and absolutely loves it. Last November, Orion was diagnosed with OS (canine bone cancer) and had to have a leg removed. They were all pulling for him, and he was able to return to daycare just weeks after his surgery. He was still in chemotherapy at the time, but you never could have told the way he played! Again, they were fantastic about paying attention to his energy level, his balance, his mood... everything. They noticed one place tripped him up a little, so it became routine to put a little rug there for him. They put another and quot;tripawand quot; next to him to make friends. They've cheered him on through everything!
If Pet Paradise can be so kind and thoughtful to a 100-lb, 3-legged, clingy rescue dog, imagine how happy your fur-baby will be there!

We have used them before and he seems to like it and they do a good job.

I dropped my cat off and they were a bit suprised and couldn't find my appointment. After some time ( thank God I left enough time before my flight for this) I got my cat situated.

they do have some kind of cat monitor but they never gave me access to it

I picked up cat up after my trio quite late at night so that is a big plus. I didn't have to go back the next day.

I would use them again, but more pricey than a home sitter.
