Didn't use him.  Asked for a quote to reside my house with Hardie Board b/c he was on Hardie Board's list of approved contractors.  He was arrogant and his price quite high compared to others.

PERMALAR IS AN AWESOME COMPANY. WE HAD A MAJOR PROBLEM WHEN WE PURCHASED THIS HOME. WE HAD SIDING THAT WAS INSTALLED OVER ROTTEN WOOD. EVEN WITH A HOME INSPECTION, YES, WE WERE RIPPED OFF. WE HAD CONTRACTED PERMALAR ON ANOTHER HOME WE OWNED AND KNEW WE NEEDED AN EXPERT OPINION, SO WE CALLED BILL KOVER. BILL CAME OUT AND INSPECTED THE HOME WE HAD JUST BOUGHT AND FOUND THE ROTTEN WOOD AND THE SIDING WAS NOT EVEN ATTACHED (WE COULD HEAR SLAPPING WHEN THE WIND BLEW). BILL ADVISED THEY DID NOT MAKE THE SIDING ANYMORE SO REPLACING THIS SECTION WAS NOT AN OPTION. WE HAD PERMALAR REMOVE ALL THE OLD AND REPLACE WITH NEW VINYL SIDING. ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE HOUSE THEY HAD TO REPLACE 8 (4X8) SHEETS OF PLYWOOD BEFORE THE NEW SIDING COULD GO UP. THEN THEY FOUND THE ELECTRICAL LINE FROM THE HOME TO THE STREET WAS ARCING BEHIND THE OLD SIDING, AND THE SIDING HAD CAUSED A LEAK INTO THE SUB-FLOORING. ALL THIS HAD TO BE CORRECTED AND WHOEVER PUT UP THE OLD SIDING SURE MADE A MESS FOR PERMALAR. THEY WORKED DILIGENTLY FOR WEEKS CORRECTING ALL THE PROBLEMS AND MAKING SURE EVERYTHING WAS ANGLED PROPERLY SO THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN. BILL ALSO DID SOME OTHER WORK FOR US THAT REALLY WAS NOT SIDING WORK BUT HIS WORKMAN ARE SKILLED IN ALL AREAS. HE PUT UP NEW DOORS AND RAILING ON OUR PORCH. I WILL BE HONEST NOW IF I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH OUR HOME, I CALL BILL AND ASK THAT HE RECOMMEND SOMEONE TO US, AS WE HAVE NOT ALOT OF TRUST AFTER THIS NIGHTMARE WE PURCHASED. BILL IS ALWAYS THERE FOR US AND RESPONDS RIGHT BACK. WE HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS COMPANY TO MANY PEOPLE AND THEY HAVE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE. PERMALAR IS A COMPANY WITH INTEGRITY AND VERY HIGH STANDARDS. THESE ARE THE PEOPLE WE NEED TO USE FOR ALL OUR NEEDS. THANK YOU BILL AND PERMALAR! WE LOVE YOU AND REFUSE TO EVEN GET ESTIMATES FROM OTHERS. WE ONLY USE PERMALAR!!!!

They were professional but I did not use them. It was pretty easy to get an appointment.

The siding was installed professionally and cleanup was performed after completion. I didnt have to call them back to correct any problems. The workers were friendly and did a good job. There was one window that needed about 3-4 ft of caulk on the bottom but I used some caulk that they left.

They have been in business for about 30 years. Coincidentally, I've even used them about 30 years ago on my home and I didn't even remember, they were recommended to me again by a friend. They were prompt, they did an excellent job. The people he has working for him - Bill Kover - are very hard workers. They completed it on time, they did what they said they were going to do and gave me a very fair price. The quality of the workmanship was excellent.

Permalar Industries of Florida has great workmanship and give good quality. They get the job done when said. I found them to be professional and timely.
