Well. He came the next day after I called about discovering a hole in the roof from a falling tree limb.

We hired him to reshingle about half our roof (a tornado had hit our town and the hail/wind took out large sections of the shingles). After trying repeatedly to upsell us to a complete roof of the twice-the-cost shingle, he agreed to do the job we wanted. His crew showed up as expected, and completed the roof very quickly, with shingles that were close to the right color, but were noticeably different. The crew left cigarette butts and discarded roofing nails all over our front and back yards (because we have small children and pets, we had to clean up the nails, we found roughly 200 nails on the lawn and driveway). About a week after the roof was installed, a 5-10mph wind came through, and about a third of our new roof ended up on the lawn! We called the contractor, who came out, climbed on the roof, and told us it was new damage, and his "lifetime" warrantee would not cover it. We then contacted our insurance agent, who hired her own inspector, who took one look at it, and said our roof was installed incorrectly. Half of the shingles had improperly placed nails (nails weren't on the tack strip where they belong), the other half had nails hammered in so hard the nail went straight through the shingle. The tar paper was laid incorrectly, causing water to pool up and because the shingles weren't on properly, we got water damage on our ceiling. After fighting with the contractor for a month, we gave up and replaced the shingles ourselves, NONE of our redone shingles have come off, and neither have any of the 10 year-old shingles on the rest of the roof. Do NOT use this company, he makes a BIG deal about being a retired special forces soldier, who just wants to take care of fellow vets, well, my fiance is a 22 year retiree from the Air Force, and I'm a disabled Navy vet, and he sure didn't give a darn about us!

I was definitely not happy with what they did.  They didn’t do a lot of things they were supposed to do.  I am still waiting them to get back on those.  It is partly my fault because I should not have paid them until they finished the job.  I have a year warranty with them but they never show up.  They were not timely.  I will not use them again.

Eddy R Michael is the guy who came out. It was 100 percent positive. He was on time. He was honest. He gave me a great price. He did more than I contracted for. He gave me more than what I wanted done. It was an excellent price. I had one person come here and wanted more than $ 10000 just to do the roof. I got my house painted. Most people will use an air gun for brushless paint and they will spray it on. That is okay but it puts the paint on very thin and the paint wears out quickly and starts to fade out faster. When this guy showed he had buckets of paint and paint brushes. He painted my house and it just looks beautiful. Eddy is the only person that I would ever, ever, ever recommend to anybody and feel comfortable that he would do a good job. I am satisfied with the work done. Eddy is a retired Special Forces soldier. When he came out he was professional, he was ethical. He gave me a price. There were some errors that he made on the price of the materials. He did not ask me to come up with some additional money. He still completed the job and did it professionally without questioning. I would strongly recommend Eddy to anybody needing construction work. He is a good, honest individual. He will do exactly what he tells is going do. I would absolutely use him again in the future.

Generally, I was very pleased with the quality of the work. They had some scheduling conflicts, which caused the work to drag on longer than I had hoped - almost 2 weeks. However, EVERYONE I've talked with say that ALL painters and contractors operate this way, and this was not unusual. And, they went over and above the original agreed-upon tasks, which I appreciated a great deal. I would definitely recommend them, and use their services again myself.

Eddie arrived as scheduled; offered suggestions to my 84 year old mother, who had never worked with an out-side contractor, guiding us in making good decisions that worked well for her.  Workers were punctual and work was well done.  We have found our contractor for all home repairs!
