I called them up to make an APPT. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. We set the APPT and they were there on time, and even called me to let me know they were in route. The guys showed up, did what they had to do, and were gone in about an hour. Very easy process from beginning to end. I will glady call them for any more of my septic needs. Great folks!

Excellent contractor....everything was performed just as promised and installed in a very timely manner with no disruption to our household.  This was a retrofit to an existing system and I was very impressed that they could do this.  The clean up was above and beyond my expectations right down to seeding and covering the entire excavation site with hay.  It has only been two weeks and you can scarcely tell anything of that scope was done in our yard.  .I would recommend this company to anyone!!

O.E. Smith is a very reputable company. I wanted to use them because I thought they were the company that installed our septic tank when our home was built. They are very knowledgable and showed up to our home on time. It was also a better price than I was quoted by another company in Clay County. They did a great job and explained a lot about our septic field and answered my questions too. 

I had just purchased a property with well and septic.  I contacted another provider to pump out and inspect my septic system since I wanted to be proactive if there were any issues.
The other provider told me that the septic tank had collapsed and they were uncertain what the health department would allow in terms of replacement (if at all).
I contacted O E Smith & Sons based on recommendations from coworkers, several had used them in the past.  They came out and determined that the "collapsed septic system" was actually a french drain.  They located my septic tank inspected it and determined that a pump out wasn't required, thereby reducing the charge for their visit.
They were pleasant to work with and sympathetic to the issue I encountered.  I've since been singing their praises to the folks I work with.  I've also learned that they do well work so they are coming out next week to help me with my well issues.

I made a phone call and the woman that answered was quick to help me, being that I was so lost and didn't know what was wrong with my plumbing problem. She had a 2 man team come out that same day for no extra fee. I was also told what each repair would cost before anything was done. I was very happy.

This is the second time I have used this company.  I used them 3 years ago and the experience was also excellent.

I called the office to schedule the appointment.  The person answering was efficient and still had my previous information on file.  She asked when I would like the service performed and provided optional times for me to select.  I chose the time I desired and she scheduled the service.

The men arrived exactly on schedule. They were very professional they dug and throughly cleaned the tank while I watched.  (I always watch as I have had another company do what is called a "pump and run"  where they leave a couple of hundred of gallons of waste in the tank). When finished the service they discussed the condition of my system. They covered the tank and cleaned the area and departed.

I will use this company again.

O E Smith's Sons did the job in a timely manner. They were real polite and courteous. I would recommend them to friends and family. They did a good job of cleaning up. I would rehire them for future jobs.

O E Smith's Sons was very unprofessional. The work was never completed at all. I complained to the owner, but he just yelled at me and was extremely rude. I am very upset with them and I would never use them again.
