MULCH & MORE

They totally forgot I had the appointment scheduled for Saturday March 18, 2017. Whem the appointed time had past, I called them and was informed I was put on the wrong "board" and that all delivery trucks were on jobs. So, I just spent thousands of dollars on new shrubs and trees and drwarf ornamentals and now I am waiting at home all day Saturday. I did obtain delivety for March 21, 2017 but to accomplish this two important doctors appointments had to be rescheduled for my spouse. In addition when I originally made the appointment I told them the last purchase was for 12 cuyds of cypress mulch. This time I wanted a darker product so they suggested the cocoa mulch. BUT...They did not inform me how much heavier and denser the cocoa mulch would be...ergo I did not need 12 cuyds as I only needed 8 cuyds as the team that executef the work informed me. We had to use it all and used in areas I had no plan to mulch. The quality of the mulch was outstanding and the work crew superb.

The entire process went very smooth. On Saturday, we went to Mulch and More to look at mulch. The nice lady even put several samples in plastic bags for us to take home and see what we like. She also gave us estimates for 2and quot; and 3and quot; of mulch and explained the pros and cons of each type of mulch. The next day, which happened to be a holiday, we ordered over the phone and the following day, the driver was at our home at 8:15 in the morning and dumped the mulch right where I told him.
The process couldn't have gone any smoother, but if Mand M were to ask me for ideas on how to improve their service, I would recommend free delivery for a specific minimum number of yards of mulch. Just add the $38 into the price of the mulch because at the end of the day, it just makes the customer feel better that they got free delivery.

I called to place a large order and they put me on hold but forgot to hit the mute button on the phone and I got to listen to them bad mouth the customers. I went to Lowes instead.

They had what I wanted in stock and delivered it the next day.
I was a little disappointed with the quality of customer service from the woman at the counter, but the delivery driver was great and dumped it right where I wanted it.

Great. Exactly how they said. Thursday did pavers. Friday cut the grass out where the plants go. Monday rain all day no work they called to let us know. Tuesday did irrigation planted plants and mulched.

Over all the workers actually doing the work are kind and courteous. I had my trees installed by the Paul Bryant Group that works and supports Mulch and more. I should have known better when I couldnt get anyone to come in a do an estimate until I really pushed them. the only time they seemed interested when I was talking about having palms installed. I guess it was of greater value to them. The job was not completed as estimated. Needed more much which they didnt figure out correctly. Seemed that they were in a rush to get the job done. I got more advice on how it should go versus on what I wanted. Oh they don't warranty their trees and two of the trees were infested by ants....something I had to take care of myself....I got the excuse that it happens . I think the Paul Bryan Group is creative but lacks a real nack for attention to customer needs. The Mulch and More provider I would not deal with at all in the future. I can't stand not having calls returned. I've found other providers a little more expensive but well worth the service.

I called Mulch and More around 2 pm on Friday. Spoke with Bruce. Asked for an approximate estimate that would equal to 50 bags of red mulch. I was told $137. I asked how much it would cost to lay it down and was told approx $225 for everything. I asked if it could be done that weekend. Bruce said he would put a call out to his trucks to see what he could do. Within two hours, the mulch was dropped off at our home.

The person delivering the mulch said a crew would come to lay it by 6:00. Hector was heading the crew, They arrived and were professional and friendly. They did an excellent job. I highly recommend their services and will definitely use them again in the future.
The cost was $3 less than the telephone estimate, without even seeing the property.
