Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Jacksonville

They came out on a Sunday, that is rare.

They are on Angie’s List, if I’m not mistaken. They did a good job. It was less than $1,000, about $900 for everything. They came on time and they explained everything. They were very helpful and professional. They cleaned everything up after themselves. Everything was fine. There was no disagreement on the price for the product that was done, the labor and parts. They provided the labor and the parts. They were on time.

They had to come back two times because they didn't clog up the pipes. Their responsiveness was very good. They were pretty good.

Project was completed professionally and successfully.

I called Mr. Rooter's St. Augustine office for service (not the Jacksonville office).  The plumber that was sent spent an inordinate amount of time on his cell phone instead of working on my job.  While he was on the phone he complained continuously about how long the job was taking and how difficult it was.  I will never call Mr. Rooter again.

The initial work, with the original plumber, as described above went well. I arranged to have him come back to replace the CPVC piping in the house because it was so brittle. On the day the work was to commence a crew of three came in and things started going wrong from the beginning. The original plumber that I had requested did not show up. The company representative that I talked to about it said that, because of the plumbers age, that they did not like to ask him to climb around in attics.
In the end the new piping is satisfactory and there have been no failures since the installation. However, during the install, several mistakes/errors of judgment/clumsy accidents took place. The job was supposed to take two days to complete and it actually took five. I had to call the company and complain about this and they sent out some more help. No drop cloths were put down and lots of mud was tracked into the house. Power tools and hand tools were put on top of our new washer and dryer in the garage, causing some scratching. During the install, some holes had to be drilled to route the new piping and one hole was mistakenly drilled in the bathroom wall near the ceiling damaging a wall tile. While the workers were in the attic over a bathroom someone stepped on a exhaust fan, pushing it down, and it had to be replaced, which they did. I now have two brown spots on my garage ceiling, that were not there before, caused by leaky connectors when the system was first turned on. All in all, it was not a good experience and I will not use this company again.

It turned out fine. There was an additional charge on top of the deal. The guy was very friendly and professional. He did a great job and he cleaned up. My dislike is his company required him to make a sales pitch for all other products that they supply which I really wasn't interested in. I haven't had any issue since the service.

It seemed as though our plumbing was worse than what we thought. Our service man ran to Home Depot while my husband had to run an errand. He was kind to agree to meet back at the house to finish the project later in the day after both were finished.

Great. Mitch came in was very professional and courteous. I told him he was the third plumber that had look at my problem since June and he was very thorough in his inspection and he stayed to make sure he had fixed the problem and it was. I just want to thank Angie's List.

When they eventually got their communications sorted out between the Jacksonville and saint Augustine offices they were prompt and efficient.

I would like to say that your receptionist Kim was very pleasant to talk to and helpful when I called needing information. Mr.
Rooter technician Mike was very prompt and professional. He covered his shoes before entering my home and kept them covered until he completed the installation. His mannerism was very pleasing to me and I enjoyed talking with him. He did not mind answering questions that I had concerning the installation, and I could tell he took pride in his work. I was also very pleased with his work and the time it took to complete the job. With technicians like Mike I would not hesitate to refer Mr. Rooter to others.
