Update - October 7, 2024: It has come to my attention that I may have been subjected to a bait-and-switch scheme. After purchasing windows purportedly rated for impact resistance, non-compliant products were installed instead. This discrepancy was only uncovered during the final inspection, at which point the windows were found to not meet impact resistance standards, leading to a failed inspection. The State inspector further advised me that I was not the sole individual affected by this issue. I will provide further updates to this review as more information becomes available, as this matter is still in the preliminary stages of investigation.

No they took advantage of a dying veteran. He paid in full so they never came back to finish the job.

Women RUN! They discriminate against married women. I own my home and my new husband moved in with me. They refused to meet with just me. If a salesman comes knocking at your door and tries to set up an appointment, tell them NO! (The door to door guy was working hard for a living and I’m not knocking him.) I’ve been making my own home decisions for 38 years and I’ll be darned if I do business with chauvinists like this.

First off let me say we did NOT get other bids prior to setting up an appointment at the Jacksonville Home Show to see Miracle Windows. We were VERY impressed with what we saw at the show and equally impressed with the Salesman Toby who came to our house. HE was prompt, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. The quality of the windows (and screens) was impressive. Their warranty is transferable if you sell your home. We got the price and then negotiated a discount (which I now think they would give to anyone who asked). We gave them 1/3 as a deposit and looked forward to having the person doing the measurements call to come out and getting our order started....that's where the problems began. It took a full week before we were contacted and set an appointment for a time frame of between 11:00 and 1:00. At 12:54 "Steve" finally called to say he was running late (REALLY????) OK so then I waited for ANOTHER 45 minutes and called him to ask where he was. He said he was "just down the block" yet it took ANOTHER 15 minutes for him to show up. I called the company, and the office manage was on the line when he arrived. She HEARD how he spoke to me! I was an idiot and allowed this guy in and he was RUDE, lied about what time he called me, until I pulled my phone out and showed him the time. He interrupted me multiple times and when I said "Excuse me I was talking" the jerk said "I forgive you" WHAT??? I said "I didn't ask for your forgiveness nor to I need or want it" and he repeated himself. With that I told him to get out of my house or I'd call 911. I called the company back and then the office manager had one of the owners call me back. He spoke to both my husband and me, and we were about to go ahead and get the windows when the owner started DEFENDING Steve....saying he's a really good guy. With that we asked for our deposit back! The salesman Toby hand delivered the refund check and apologized profusely

Salesman used hard sell tactics, but you can knock their quoted price quite a bit if you're willing to take the time to negotiate. Installer was professional. Once he was finished and left, the only remaining evidence of his having been there were the new windows. Over a year later, I've had no issues with the windows so far. I didn't see a dramatic drop in the electric bill but there was a noticeable difference.

Installation went fine. Windows are Great, Finishing details like trim took forever for them to come back , That was only after continuous calling them. Things you should always do before signing: Be headstrong with the salesman. Ask questions. Take notes. Please read entire contract, just in case you change your mind. Have the salesman read your notes and sign them if agrees. Be sure to have extra paint available to cover the knicks around the inside windows,(I didn't) Check every window before finalizing sale. Be patient with the company, you will need it. The windows are really awesome. If you get through the whole process you will love your windows.

Screens are not what they say. I have so many gnats and so much windblown dirt in the window seals it's awful. The site says 10% discount for seniors. At what age do they consider to be senior? I didn't receive a discount either time and i'm 62. The second salesman was nice but pushy and very quick to put the contract in front of us. Not to happy with that.Overlooked a few details I wanted to discuss. Loved the first salesman we had which was a much more mature and helpful gentleman. Call back on checking work after it was finished didn't happen the second time. Overall I think they are way overpriced. Waiting on third install.

Overall we are very pleased with our new Windows. Initial contact was made after our neighbors signed up to replace some Windows. We were very impressed with the quality and energy efficiency of the Windows. We had to wait a few weeks to get approval since our home is in a historic neighborhood, but that went well since we weren't replacing original Windows in the home but ones added some time after the house was new. Installation went well and we were most impressed with Ted who came out to finish up the installation today. He was very meticulous to finish up the project to a very high standard. We really like the Windows!

Young man came unsolicited knocking on my door asking for contact info and to give a free quote. Was very persistent. I do not appreciate unsolicited people knocking on my door for services or anything for that matter.

A man showed up at our door unsolicited and told us his associate could give us a quote for a single window. The man showed up and an hour later we still didn't have a quote. He literally would not leave or give us a quote. Avoid these guys like the plague.

They came to the house at our request to give an estimate for window installation. The demo was quite convincing as to the quality of their product. The quality seems to be quite high and in line with what they promised. The price seems a bit high, but I feel that as in most things you get what you pay for, so the money we spent is not a great concern. The sales pitch was pretty aggressive which could cause some to agree to something that they really don't want or can't afford. We are not easily pushed around by sales people so we recognized the pitch for what it was and concentrated on the product itself. After installation, one of the windows developed a crack in one corner. The company came out quickly, assessed the situation and initiated a replacement. The replacement came within a relatively short time and since that time there have been no complaints about this product. Since installation, we have noticed that it is significantly quieter in the house and much easier to heat and cool the place. After all is said and done, the product delivers what it is advertised to do albeit at a relatively high initial cost. We would use this company again, but in the future I would attempt to negotiate the price because I feel that we did pay the very top of the market and I have heard that these things can sometimes be had for less than the original offer.

I am going to purchase their replacement windows. So far dealing with this company has been a first rate experience.

A gentleman stopped by on an unsolicited sales call to inquire about our need for windows and door replacements. My husband and I had been considering replacement windows, so we invited him inside. We showed him everything we wanted done. He used his cell phone to call a and quot;managerand quot; for an appointment and handed the phone to me. I spoke with this company representative who was going to make an appointment for an estimate. It was my intention to be home for the estimate, but the company rep said that both my husband and I must be home during the estimate. At that point, I said this wasn't possible and that I was no longer interested in obtaining an estimate from this company. After I hung up, the salesperson explained that the BBB requires that all members of a household are home for estimates. That didn't ring true for me, so I declined to even obtain an estimate from this company. Unfortunately, I did give them my phone number, so I received numerous unsolicitated phone calls, which I simply did not answer. We since have had all the work done by another company, (which I also reviewed.) Miracle windows and doors needs to change their sales tactics. They lost a sale to me because of their dishonesty.

Newma french doors were installed on time by work crew. The doors look great and are a big improvement over the cheaper french doors that were there previously. The new doors are much more secure and have a really good locking mechanism. The price was a bit steep but I feel safer with the more secure doors; therefore, it was worth the extra money.

Miracle windows installed 10 hurricane windows in our home. The windows are of excellent quality but are expensive. If you are planning on being in your home long term, it may be a good investment due to the energy efficiency and impact resistance of the glass. The installation went well on each occasion. All debris was removed from the site and everything was clean when the crew left.

I first saw this company many years ago when they were preforming a demonstration at a local event. I was highly impressed with the durability and the energy savings they showed. I would always push it off as the price seemed really high. When it came time to replace my windows i decided to give them a call. They sent over a company member to do a in home demonstration. It was a good demonstration and then it went into a car sales person negotiation mode. I felt extremely pressured so if you are not strong minded you might end up getting extras you do not want. I had interior shutters on all the windows and apparently those had to be removed to install the new windows. Not wanting to have to do all that myself they graciously quoted me a price to do that and replace them. They quoted me around $800 to remove/replace the shutters. Seemed a little high but I went for it. We set a date that would allow me to be home from work for the install. I decided to get out a second mortgage as financing through the company was like 12.5%. I advised them I would need time to get things taken care of with my bank. They agreed to start the order and to give me around a month to get the payment in order. I made a down payment and I was excited and looking forward to it. Around two weeks later I start getting phone calls from the man that sold me the windows. He stated that I needed to sign their finance agreement until I got my loan from the bank. I advised him I really did not want to do this as I did not want to get stuck in an agreement with such a high interest rate. He kept pushing and told me that the order would have to be stopped and turned into a super pushy sales person. I questioned him why all of a sudden it was so important as two weeks ago they were willing to wait? He never answered and just kept saying either I sign it or I do not get the windows! This did not sit well with me especially when I realized I would lose my deposit if I backed out now. I agreed and he immediately drove an hour to my house. He showed up around 7:30 pm and had the paperwork in hand. I again explained I was not happy with his tactics and he should explain this better up front. They scheduled a time later that week to come measure my windows. They then scheduled a time to come and install the windows and doors. The time came and went for the install and I was not even notified about the delay. I had to call them several times to try to figure out when they would be coming as someone has to be home. A second time was scheduled to install the windows and doors. This also came and went with no phone call or install. Again I called and was told it was taking longer than expected to get the windows and doors back from the factory. So a third time was set. This time the windows arrived and were installed. The install crew however did not remove the interior shutters and even made comments of why would they need them removed. I contacted the office and stated I would like my money back for paying to have them removed and re-installed. They gave me back only $200 of the original $800 because he said that is all he charged me. I then realized that he had not given me a detailed quote and only told me verbally that it would be $800. Yet another horrible business practice on their part. The doors took another two weeks to arrive and install. The french doors do not close right and I dread having to call and have them come out and fix that ! The installation was fast and very professional. The windows do seem to make a big difference in temperature control. They look great and if I could have avoided everything else I would have enjoyed this experience. The windows are great and helpful. I can not say the same about the company and its tactics.

I was very pleased with this company and will use them again in the future.

The salesman who came to my home to give me an estimate was very professional and took off his shoes at the front door which is very important to me. He did a full demonstration of the windows and compared them to other windows. I found this information most valuable. The company worked with me as I ran into a delay with my credit union in securing a loan. The salesman estimated the time for installation as 1 day. The work was not completed in one day which necessitated rearranging my schedule. The installation was a bit messy but I expected that. After the work was done, I noted a chip on the tub in the bathroom and a chip on the washing machine. They were not so bad but no one contacted me after the installation to ask me if I was satisfied with the job. When you spend that kind of money on a home project, you would think there would be some follow up. Overall, I am satisfied with the windows and I have seen a difference in my electric bills. My house is cleaner as the windows are properly sealed to prevent dust, dirt and pollen from entering. I would highly recommend Miracle Windows.
