Merry Maids of Jacksonville

I hired Merry Maids to come to my empty home and clean, three bathrooms the floors and wipe the window sills. They cleaned one bathroom and mopped the bottom floor and wiped a few window sills. The master bathroom was filthy, and the maids lied to the owner Garrett and told them they tried to clean it, but how is that possible when there was still a used bar of soap on the ledge in the shower and a used bar on the floor of that same shower? The bathroom downstairs still had stains in it and the floors were disgusting. I told them to stay two hours and if more time was needed to let me know so that I could approve it. Instead i received a call stating that everything was completed and that there was no need to stay any longer. Please review video and photographs of my home AFTER they left. I would never use this company and if you need something cleaned it is best to either do it yourself or hire another company, even a craigslist company would have done better than this at $140 per hour. I spoke to the owner Garrett numerous times and he refused to come back out and have them clean. He has a team of liars working as maids and he is just as bad as them for not holding them accountable for their actions.

They are good. Everybody that they send is covered with their insurance. Quality is good. They give you time from 10-12. Very professional. They even told me that if they break will pay anything.

I've used them for several years. They are very, very, good. They do an excellent job and their staff is really good. I use them once a month and they are here about 3 hours.

I'm always super satisfied, they have very efficient in what they do do. They adapt to what you need and accommodate your schedule. Prompt and courteous and always willing to follow up with you after service. I would recommend them to others 100%.

STAY AWAY FROM MERRY MAIDS and it's   %*&#   of an owner GARRETT. 
Contracted for Apartment Cleaning- 2BR, 2BA and for this price $133 - I expected a GREAT cleaning  - I contracted every other week, but ended up RE CLEANING my house.  They were at my house less than 90 minutes (my neighbors would let me know when they left, as I was suspicious)  no laundry service even for that price. They mistreated the 2 family dogs - locking them up outside on the porch in florida heat - they are snout nosed and cant handle that - again, my neighbor called me home. 
I FINALLY had ENOUGH and after 18 visits, cancelled my contract.  Garrett, the owner had the AUDACITY to pull $259 from my checking account without authorization (ILLEGAL) as a fee for "ending the contract."  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We were happy with it. They were very diligent in their work. They were prompt and on time. They were kind and respectful. Everything was put back in place. Everything was cleaned thoroughly as best as they can. We'll use them again. My wife was happy with them.

Great Response time on initial contact, and on time of service.
Set up service for cleaning of Master Bathroom and other Bathroom, which were cleaned very well.
They cleaned baseboards, corners, shower, bath, etc,,,and did it very well.
Would defintely use them again, for more extensive cleaning,

They provide excellent service. They clean from the baseboards to the ceiling. They are on time every time. They are professional and have high integrity.

I had Merry Maids clean my small apartment about once a month for a year. Initially I was pleased with the service. However, on two separate occasions I had to call the office and have them make a return visit. My kitchen cabinets are white, and it was very obvious they did not wipe down the door or drawer fronts.Second time, they did not dust or clean glass as door fronts of dining furniture as listed on their service. They returned the next day and completed service as required.On two other occasions, cleaning was poor or neglectful. One of the maids had wiped down the stove controls and turned on the oven. The oven was on for about 4 hours at a low temperature. Major fire hazard if something had been stored in the oven. Owner was apologetic. Pretty much the final straw was the bathtub. To clean it properly and rid it of mold and mildew, one must use a scrub brush and bleach type cleaner. I even left both items in the tub, hoping that someone would "get a clue" that that was what I wished to be used. Nope, I came home to the items on the side of the tub, and the mildew still down around the drain. That was pretty much the indicator that I needed to terminate their services.

Susan was very helpful and was able to schedule my house quickly. The job was accomplished as scheduled. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the clean. A large swath of the floor still had hair and dust and the closets were not cleaned. The kitchen sink was still grimy and the bathrooms were only lightly cleaned. The 2 ladies were there for less than 5 hours so an hourly rate of over $30 per man hour is too much for the work done. This is my first negative report for an Angie's List company. By the time I was able to visit the rental home (it is in another city), my renters had already moved in so we really could not go back and correct the problems.

They gave us a much more fair price, Molly Maids priced the kids bedrooms but never cleaned them.

They sent out a crew of two people who were here a couple of hours. I had always been pleased with Merry Maid in the past, but my crew moved out of state and the new one simply did not cover the detail work. They missed areas I had asked to be done. Unfortunately, I will not be calling them again because they do not offer consistent service with each crew.

We have used them on different occasions, but not continuously. They always do a great job and that s why we have them come back again. They do not waste any time and the work is very detailed. I am pleased with the service.

Merry Maids will clean just about anything and they do laundry and change sheets. I am very pleased with them.

Merry Maids has done a very good job. I have hired them for awhile and they come out every two weeks. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family members.
