If you care about your pet's health chose ANOTHER Vet. I wish I had read the previous reviews before taking my dog to Dr. Jones. She is incompetent and a scam artist. I paid close to $1,000 to be told by a DIFFERENT vet's office that my dog has a urinary tract infection. This "doctor" shouldn't be allowed to practice.She will run up your bill with unnecessary tests and exams, and provide no ACTUAL treatment or DIAGNOSIS.

I've been using MVC for over 20 years, and it kills me that I can't clone them and take them to my new home in Georgia. Dr. Jones and the staff have always treated my dogs and their human with great care and compassion. Dr. Jones in on call for emergencies 24/7, and I've had to avail myself of that service two or three times over the years. I toured her facility when I first moved to Jacksonville. There was a dog laying in the hallway, wrapped in bandages and an IV in its leg. Dr. Jones apologized, but said the dog had required serious emergency surgery, so it was in the hallway for constant monitoring. She also said that she would take the dog home with her that night if it was strong enough; otherwise, she would sleep at the clinic to monitor its condition.
MVC is accredited by AAHA, meaning it meets the highest of standards. I would recommend Dr. Jones to anyone! I'll really, really miss her and the staff.

I'm going to miss Dr. Jones and her wonderful staff when I move to Georgia this summer :( My dog injured her foot at the dog park on January 31, and I immediately took her to Mandarin Veternary Clinic. Dr. Jones administered a sedative to relieve her pain. I had scheduled her annual dental check-up and cleaning for mid-February, but Dr. Jones suggested that we do that while my dog was sedated for treatment of her injury. One day later, my dog is happy and healthy. I love this vet!

I've been using Mandarin Veterinary Clinic for 19 years. This is a AAHA reated hospital. Dr. Jones and her staff have taken great care of my dogs and they're always courteous and helpful. Dr. Jones has responded promptly to several weekend and nighttime emergencies. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

We brought our guinea pig in for diagnosis and treatment. the vet fully explained his condition and prescribed antibiotics and B vitamins but he had pneumonia. We brought him back for shots as we were unable to give them to him on our own. He did pass away but he got great care from the vet, the pneumonia was just too serious.
