MAILBOX KING

We had someone run over our brick incased mailbox back in June, and we hired Mailbox King to replace the entire fixture. We called them after we received the payment from the insurance company, and ordered what we wanted. They indicated it could be about 6 weeks since supplies were on back order. We agreed that it was okay, and waited. It took them 2 1/2 weeks to come out and install a temporary mailbox, and thankfully, I pulled up before they left, because the older man who showed up had just laid the mailbox in front of my house and was going to leave it there. I asked that he put it in the ground by the curb, and he did. At 8 weeks, we tried to call several times with no response, and finally emailed the company who indicated it could be another 2 weeks due to shortages. That is totally understandable with how things are right now. 6 weeks later, on 10/14/21, my husband sent them an email saying we would like to cancel the order because we didn't want to wait any longer, and miraculously they called and stated they could come out today to put the new mailbox in. The woman who runs the business is very abrupt and rude, not very customer service oriented. I don't believe they care about their customers at all. Both times I spoke with her, she was very curt. I would not recommend this company, if you can find another one in the area. I think I'd rather order a mailbox from Lowe's or Home Depot than deal with a company like them again.

I am actually delighted with Mailbox Kings eye for detail in advising me to match the paint and trim to the colors of my house. They designed an attractive keystone to match the design of my home. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. The job was started and completed on time. Mailbox King drew a design so that I would know exactly what to expect. I would recommend Mailbox King to anyone needing to replace or have a mailbox built. I live in a homeowners association that the work must be approved before anything could be done, and they approved the craftsmanship of Mailbox Kings quality of work. Their price was reasonable.

Great job, very professional, polite and timely. My only issue was a few cigarette butts left on the ground. That's a pet peeve of mine but all in all not a deal breaker. We're looking forward to working with Allen again.

Allan and Janie came to house and matched
brick, the mailbox was delivered a week later (as promised). I was initially undecided
on the addition of planters, but they were created delivered the next week and
installed. Allan is extremely knowledgeable about brick and mason work and is
willing to share that knowledge with customers.

Contacted Janie to discuss prices. Janie quickly sent an e-mail with all designs and prices since they are still working on their website. When we decided which design to go with, she let me know right away that they had a sale going on and what the new price would be. We scheduled a date for brick matching, unfortunately they arrived before we were home, but they left a sample at the house for us to approve. Janie was quick to follow up the next day for approval. She let me know that the box would take about 2-3 weeks for delivery. Upon delivery the old mailbox was removed, the area was leveled and the new box with planters were installed (see pictures). He even found a very large root that had been buried there and took the extra time to dig it up as to not create problems down the road.
