Mark Long of Long Family Construction is unskilled with extremely poor workmanship. For example, he installed my LVP flooring with no vapor barrier and lied that I signed a waiver refusing the vapor barrier and returning it to L & L Flooring. I have the receipts, Mark never purchased vapor barrier which is required by the manufacturer. There are gaps everywhere in the flooring and none of the corners of my quarter round meet. It is a crime for the amount of caulk that this man used to fill gaps in my home. The flooring inspection report required that this LVP be replaced because of the buckling and unlevel floor. The floor is the most expensive part of the remodel that I have had to redo. That does not include the textured walls, tile work, banister, counter tops, and kitchen cabinets. My home inspection failed due to his work. If that is not bad enough, I terminated Mark before he completed the contract, he was overpaid and paid up-to-date, He also threatened to send me a final bill, put a lien on my home, and sue me for slander. Can not sue when it is the truth. I wish I could post pictures.

"The moisture barrier for your floor was delivered to you house and per your request returned. A copy of the receipts for the delivery and return were emailed to you. In a video taped meeting you were informed that state law requires you to allow a contractor to finish the work, we offered at no extra charge to correct any deficiencies which is commonly called a punch list and you refused demanding a full refund and dissolved the contract. You then filed a complaint with the City building inspector and the state of Florida against my License both of which were dismissed. At the end of the day you are an entitled KAREN NAMED KAREN who stated the painters painting the house shouldn't even be in the country if they can't speak English and you didn't want them back at your house, at which time you were informed that they HAD TO BE GIVEN A CHANCE TO FINISH TOUCH UP or you would be paying additional money for touchup and you refused to let them finish. You didn't have a problem until I refused to continue adding additional work until the contracted work was finished. You felt ENTITLED TO FREE WORK. This review came after your complaints with authorities were dismissed and as such you had no legal recourse. Contractors be ware of Karen W in the Southside area of Jacksonville FL. I AM COSIDERING LEGAL ACTION FOR DEFAMATION."
