I had a very disappointing experience with Koehler Homes. While the window replacement process was excellent and the manufactures window defects were addressed and ultimately corrected (Water was pouring into my home during rain events), the siding replacement and paint job fell well short of expectations. The contractor and installation technicians lacked friendliness, attention to detail and struggled with communication due to language barriers which required numerous calls back to the Koehler office which for the most part went ignored. Overall customer service was far below expectations and little to no follow-up was given, I had to do it all myself with calls to the office and the contractor directly. Fallowing the ‘completion’ there were numerous line items quoted that were not completed and I had to make repeated calls to get corrected facing charges for uncompleted and ignored work. This required me to request and argue for refunds and credits on my final payments of over 3,000 dollars. I would possibly use them for windows again but would look harder at other options and likely choose another contractor. For Siding and paint… I caution and urge you to go elsewhere and maybe even pay more as the work is not as advertised and numerous days of return (rework) trips were required.

They are excellent, service and personnel are excellent, and the windows were outstanding, we were very pleased with their service.

The consultation for the windows was great! Corey was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He provided excellent customer service and the product seems to be great quality for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this company.

Amazing job by a terrific company. Job installation took 5 days, didn't disrupt anything with our schedule or home. Communication was on point and pricing was competitive with 7 other companies. We chose Koehler because everything they said was true and accurate. They didn't disappoint at all.

I've been having work done by Koehler Homes for 20yrs, go way back with Les and can't say enough about this company. On this project, they replaced 28 windows and enlarged an opening so I could have a sliding glass door installed. The consultants who helped Les handle the project was John and Toby, both who were accessible and communicated the whole time. I was away during the installation and just got home to see the final product! Amazing job and super clean

We couldn't be happier with the overall experience and process. 1st class company and employee's. Communication is probably one of their strongest attributes. Awesome job!

Beware if it's a difficult job! Koehler Homes was recommended through Angie's List. John Lucidi, Managing Partner, came to my house and gave me an estimate to replace five windows with impact windows. We talked at length about the windows being on the 3rd floor and requiring scaffolding. John provided me with an estimate and I placed a $2850 down payment. His PM came out to look at the job and then called and said he was having his installer come out to look at the job. John and an installer came out and then John called me and said they cannot do the job because one of the windows is too difficult to get to. I asked if they could install the rest so he came back out on 11/13 and provided a return check and said he estimated it on using a lift and not scaffolding even though in the initial conversation he said they'd have to use scaffolding. He said he needed to talk to a few people to see what they could do and that it would be at a new price and he'd get back to me by 11/15 with a status of where they were at. It's now 11/22 and I've not heard back from him. I figured with the return of the deposit that I'd never hear from him again.

We are very satisfied with our new windows and Koehler was really great to work with. They are very professional and the job was done quickly and neatly. Very happy customers!

On the overall process, we are pleased. We had the one window mismeasured by a former employee but this was corrected and replaced. We hope that this can be corrected in the future with some added steps. We have already given some neighbors your name for future window replacements. We hope this business will come your way.

Koehler Homes replaced ALL the windows in our house, totaling thirteen windows in all. The end result is beautiful replacement windows that will last us a lifetime. The house has a new look, inside and out. Manufacturing time is about 5 weeks, installation took a bit less than 3 days, city inspector gave final approval a few days after installation. Total time elapsed from signing the contract to the inspector walking out the door: approximately 6 weeks. A special shoutout to the installers. They are incredibly conscientious and skilled. One cautionary note. Ensure that you and Koehler Homes agree on whether your blinds/shutters/other window dressings will work with your new windows. And agree what has to be moved before installation. A more detailed review follows. The salesman came to the house, looked at what had to be replaced and recommended window types that would work as replacements. We found what we liked and then talked about the process of measuring, ordering, installing, inspecting the replacement windows. We were concerned about the tropical blinds (shutters) because the replacement windows . We wanted to ensure that we would not have to find something else that would work. The salesman thought it would be no problem. The Koehler employee measuring the windows also looked at the shutters and said it should be OK but "we'll see." When the installers arrived their initial judgment was that the shutters would NOT work with the replacement windows. All was resolved satisfactorily between us after reinspecting the shutters and the new windows and carefully measuring the space. I was impressed with Koehler Homes' dedication to customer service and satisfaction, taking the extra step to resolve all problems. The shutters were removed but the installers put them back up as they finished the associated windows. Manufacturing took about 5 weeks. As soon as they were ready Koehler Homes arranged to have them installed. The installers were professional, friendly, extremely competent, respectful of our house and the disruption caused by the installation. You could not ask for a better installation experience. Installation of all 13 windows took a bit less than three days. The city inspector looked at the installation and was very complementary, noting that he doesn't see this level of quality all that often. He noted that if he had seen any issues he would have been quick to point them out. He had nothing to point out. Another positive experience in this project. This project is the best experience I've had with renovation/replacement projects over the 30 years I've been in this house. I recommend Koehler Homes for your window replacement as well.

The entire experience from start to finish was handled w/ professionalism and patience. The installers were courteous, friendly and very prompt. The work was completed in a day and a half . Once the work area was complete, they cleaned the area up right away. We will recommend Koehler Homes Inc to friends and family. It was a pleasure!

After a rough start to the installation, everything went just as I expected. One of the owner personally came out to make sure everything finished just the way it was told to me. Very happy.

Communication broke down with project manager but Sales and installation were very professional.
