The Service Advisor, Eddie, is a nice man who kept me informed of the progress.  The problem with this transaction was that the trunk leak was supposed to take 1 to 2 days but ended up taking 5 days.  I had left the car there Sunday and didn't get it back until late the following Friday.  Eddie advised that they were having difficulty getting the part they needed and that one of the warehouses reported having the part but then didn't actually have it.  Eddie spent some time trying to smooth this over, but the bottom line was they had the car for 5 days.

Also the car was returned to me with the trunk mat still wet, even though when I talked to Eddie the first time he indicated that they would dry it.   I would think that they could have been airing out the trunk mat during the 4 extra days they had the car.  Also the spare tire was not put back in place, just left in the trunk.  Not exactly impressive or a sterling beginning.

I take my '06 Sonata to Key Hyundai for ALL my service needs except for tires. Everyone is great and very professional and I feel they have never done any work on my car that didn't need to be done. For example, my 100,000 mile service. The suggested services were a mile long and would have cost several hundred dollars. The looked at my previous service record and suggested that only an oil change and tire rotation were needed.

we leased a brand new santa fe, and listened to all the WONDERFUL guarantees we had, and how we wouldn't need to pay for repairs because..... inside of 2 months, we got a flat tire....THAT is not covered sir....(the written promise trumps the slaesmans verbal promises again!) They couldn't repair the tire, of course so of course we had to buy a new one for over $225.
Oil change....we made an apt, and were kept waiting, took almost two hours for an oil change, and complimentary car wash, though I was hard pressed to see anything that was washed!
third visit...the wife nicks a tree, boom goes the side view mirror....we go in, pay $200 for the part, then wait till it arrives and is painted. We get automated calls and emails 2-3 a day telling us the part is in, and if we don't come in within 30 days....we lose out. So we make an apt, I arrive...the part is NOT painted yet!! have to reschedule. we do it again....this time part is installed, on time, and correctly...and I WAS given a decent discount for the having to come back.

Oil change and fix a water leak in the trunk. They did this fine. What I got that I did not ask for was a six inch scratch on my windshield. I made a second trip over to get the scratch removed, and then my windshield wipers failed the next day while I was driving in the rain. Apparently someone had losened the screw on the driver side windshield wiper. I had to have them come to my home to repair the windshield wiper.

I like this company, and I think they're quite good. Not only do they do good work, but they stay on top of the whole automotive situation. I think, my car is in good hand with them. I have used many dealerships over the years, and I think they were great! Also, their price is competitive. They're not the cheapest, but I think they're good.
