"[Member Name Removed] - I am very sorry to hear about the ear infection that your pet has experienced. I know this is not pleasant to deal with, especially for water loving dogs. Please know that we take great pride in maintaining a clean and sanitary pet campus. We clean pet suites several times/day, scoop the property daily, and with regard to the pools, we clean them every single morning 365 days/year. The water chemistry is also tested daily. As you alluded to, we do have hundreds of dogs using the pools every week. This constantly changes the water chemistry which is why we have to maintain the pools on a daily basis. This number of dogs also causes a lot of dirt to build up on the bottom of the pool. I assure you this is not feces. The majority of our four-legged guests are able to enjoy our pools without any issue however a very small number may get ear infections. This is not from contaminated water but rather the dogs body's response to water sitting in the ear canal and the resulting inflammation. Some breeds are even predisposed to it (e.g. lots of hair in the ear, floppy ears). Some dogs will even get an ear infection from only a little water in the ear after a bath. Our park is divided into different areas (pools, splash pad, agility field, nature trails) so that if a pet cannot use one area they may still enjoy other areas. If you would like to utilize these non-pool areas, please contact me and I will be happy add the missed time to your park pass. Thank you, Jason Winchester General Manager 904-268-6731"
They truly care about the well-being of the animals. The animals love them, they have a great relationship with them.
I have used them for about 30 years. They are excellent. They have a staff of veterinarians that are caring, knowledgeable and will go extreme lengths to take care of your pet. They are so good I could not say enough about them. Whenever there is a problem that arises with my pets I always take them there. I have never been disappointed. They have excellent staff, excellent people at the front desk and they are compassionate. I had a cat that had a serious problem with his bowels and they were able to take care of it. They board dogs and cats. They are very thorough and overall excellent. I think they have about five veterinarians there. They do not take appointments. You come in and sign in, which I really like so you can always be seen on the day that your problem occurs. That's very unusual. Usually you have to make appointments with veterinarians and then you might have to wait several days. It really works. They have a separate waiting room for dogs and a separate waiting room for cats so there is no intermingling; that's nice.
"Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback for us. We take all feedback very seriously. Our staff works extremely hard to ensure every client has a pleasant experience and pets are cared for at the highest level. I do apologize that you had a long wait. We are primary a walk-in animal hospital in order to allow us to see all pets, well or sick at any time. Because we cannot predict demand, we do sometimes have longer waits while other times there are no waits. I am sorry you feel that our prices are high and we perform unnecessary tests. I see you purchased Trifexis when you came in. Our price will always meet or beat 800-PET-MEDS on this product as well as other adulticides. You will unlikely find it less anywhere than at our office. We also had to perform heart worm tests for your pets in order to prescribe Trifexis. This is for the safety of your pets and a manufacturer requirement. Please see the FAQs "Why does my dog need a heart worm test before starting Trifexis?" on the manufacturers website: [hyperlink removed]. Additionally I see we gave you a courtesy exam being a new client only wanting to get Trifexis. I do not believe you will find better value than what we delivered to you. If there is anything I may do to help alleviate any other concerns you may have, please contact me at 904-268-6731. Regards, Jason Winchester, GM"
"Dear Ms. [member name removed], Thank you for providing feedback to us. I see the date of your visit is listed as 9/8/2013. I am not sure if that's a typo but if it was indeed in 2013, we had very limited times for appointments then. We offered them Tuesday afternoons and all day Thursdays. While many of our clients prefer the walk-in option, we randomly polled our clients and found that, while not a majority, there is a sizable portion who prefers appointments. In light of this, last year we began offering appointments Monday - Friday afternoons and all day Thursdays. If you have any other concerns, I would be more than happy to discuss them with you.
