Joey is a complete and old-school professional. Recently, Joey repaired a damaged plaster wall in my home. First, hecordoned off the entire area in plastic to ensure that the dust, and less paint particles were contained. Second, he repaired all of the damaged areas ensuring a smooth finish. Third, he walked me through how to prime the repair. I was very impressed.

Outstanding! Was very professional and prompt. Job was done better than expected. Was able to match ceiling color.

We have a young Labrador retriever who eats anything and everything. He decided that the archway between our living room and kitchen would be tasty. He methodically ate his way through the drywall in several places creating some decent-sized craters. We got Joey's name from Annie's list. He had many positive reviews and for good reason. He responded to us in about 15'. He came out, took pictures of that damage and a few other areas that had gotten damaged over the years. We had an estimate the next day, and it was more than fair. He arrived promptly on the day we had set for the repair. Joey has many years experience in all aspects of the drywall business. He really knows his stuff. Even though ours was a pretty small job, compared to some, Joey treated us like he was doing a major repair. He is courteous and professional. He did a great job cleaning up, as well. We would not hesitate to use Joey again. In fact, I am not so sure that, Angus (the dog), is done experimenting on our walls!

Repairs went as explained

Hired to try and match a knock down ceiling hole. He was honest up front that the match won’t be 100% but about 95%. The job was more of 45% of a match. He was rushed the whole time and the work showed. I would not hire again.

Joey did an outstanding job! I highly recommend him for any drywall repair. The work is seamless. The popcorn matches the surrounding finish. Joey did the work quickly, he arrived on time, and charged the exact same amount he quoted. Joey is a quality guy!

He really took advantage of us . he asked for money after he opened the wall and we had to go along , He did not finished the job he promised Door frames and paint and cocking) we got so tired of him he was talking most of the time. He went to his car 15 time to get what he needed . and he told us he can;t **** or paint only drywall . he lied to us because we explained to him about the job 2 time before comming . He messed up all the floor ,we had to clean up after him.The jobhe did does't look good i have to hire a professnal person I never had this situation.

The wall is in good shape and ready to be retiled.

I definitely would not hire this guy ever again. We argued on the phone before we even met because he was comparing old jobs to MY needs. I swallowed my pride in order to just get the work done. He further insulted me. He said nobody would come to my house because it was on the westside. I was highly offended and he was just being negative. I knew this over the phone. He called me a problem customer because I told him he can't judge my home without seeing it. It's always bad to focus on what you "can't " Do. He work on a tiny space for the entire 4hrs. Just plain insane. I questioned him on this and he became offensive. The entire 4hrs he talked about other clients and had no focus on the CURRENT job. I'm a former US Marine, and this grown man is NOT a good representation of quality work. He's from New York. They have a different personality than us folks in the south. I guessed his home state before meeting him. ( I just knew) My street is completely quite. Multiple races, no issues in the neighborhood at all. Work is work...side of town doesn't matter. I was told to gather quick dry45. This is for walls. He switched my bag with a shorter time bag. (Quick dry 20) he either kept it for himself, or to use it on the rich ppl he bragged so much about. A quality service provider don't need Angie's list. THEIR WORK WOULD KEEP THEM BOOK ALONE. He completed this teeny tiny portion of the wall and packed up. Had he busted ***, and not talk about drugs....i would've had more done. Immediately after he left, i hired a friend to do the entire house for $500. Had Joey worked HARDER AND FASTER...he could've got more work. He's use to 4hr money, so his income will ALWAYS be limited. And through the insults and constant challenging of my wants/needs I still left a tip. (Something his rich clients don't do) Being humble is what works for me.

I had several places in garage ceiling where the plaster was falling out. He was able to patch these places and match the color to the rest of the ceiling

I was pleased. They were fine. It took longer than the Big Deal I purchased so there was some additional cost. He was very professional. He appeared on time and did what he said what he was going to do. He had to come back another day. The cleanup was ok. It's drywall work.

Joey's knowledge is truly impressive. We had a million questions for him and he answered every single one. He took his time and made sure that his work was perfect. Not only is he great at repairing plaster walls, he's incredibly kind and friendly. When we need future work, he'll be our first call.

Job was not completed, so had to pay someone else to complete. Paid $189 for 4 hours worth of work. Not a huge bathroom. Price was for 1 person for 4 hours or two people at 2 hrs each.

Very pleased with the repair - and the tenant was also pleased.
