INTERIORS REVITALIZED

I worked with Kayla Courson to pick out colors and furniture for my house. We had a house fire and the idea of picking out colors for the entire house was overwhelming. She helped pick out the colors and the house is so beautiful. Everyone compliments me on the color choices. In addition, she helped me pick out the furniture for the home. The house feels so welcoming. It was so great to have her help.

The design laid out was great but we didn't get what we initially planned. The wrong tile was put down on the floor. It would have cost more time and money to replace with the correct tile. We ended up keeping it but the design from there forward was rushed. The designer wasn't there the day the tile was placed and didn't check on things. I just felt things were not as organized as they should have been with the contractors. Designer is nice and had good ideas.

We continue to use her for any interior design project. She is sensational!

Although very professional, Christy is easygoing and fun. She listened to my needs, discussed my budget and quickly formed a vision that would work to best showcase our vacant home. She never pushed her ideas but had no trouble "seeing" what was helpful for potential buyers to visualize a warm, inviting home instead of a vacant house. Because she owns the furniture & accessories, I did not have to arrange furniture rental with a separate company. Nor did she require a minimum three month contract like some others do. There has been an increased interest in our home since it was revitalized with only positive feedback at our open house. She handled everything beautifully.... taking away all the stress. I look forward to getting her help after the holidays with colors & ideas for decorating our new home.

It turned into a great experience. Not only is Christy very professional with great ideas, but she is very easy and fun to work with. She listened to my ideas and got a sense for my style and likes. She never 'pushed' her ideas and recommendations on me. She learned my likes so well, that she recommended things I would have never thought of....and then absolutely loved! Christy would go shopping and pick out items she thought I would like and would work in the house. Nine times out of ten, we used what she purchased for us. She also had a clear sense of how much I was willing to spend. She always respected that and could still find amazing items for the house within my budget.
Her schedule was very flexible and she was always accommodating to our needs and availability. She was always punctual and stayed until a job was complete. We worked with Christy periodically over approximately a period of a year period. Some work had to be done at the house before we could proceed with more interior design. All of the construction/remodeling work was suggested by Christy.  Since we worked with her for so long, she felt like a friend rather than a designer or someone we hired.
I have received so many positive and wonderful comments on the house and how it is decorated and designed. I would love to take credit for it but must admit it is all Christy's work. She definitely helped turn our house into a home.
Even though the initial work was completed in approx 2012, I am still in contact with Christy.  I have another room that needs to be redone...so I hope to be seeing her again soon.

All went well. It was a long process that required carpeting, painting, lighting, plumbing and new furniture. Christy had great suggestions and listened to our ideas as well.

I personally used Christy and sold my home in 3 days!!! She is professional, has a great eye for color and placement of furniture and can also provide furniture for the person who needs it in their home. I highly recommend her. She is great with owners of homes and is extremely tactful when she is telling them they have to pack up a lot of their items.....I will be using her again and again in the future....Michele

We had a ton of questions and Christy was awesome. She answered all of our questions and gave us a lot of good ideas. She made great use of the short visit we had, and even told us we could call or text her in the future if we have questions or want to get her opinion on something! She also pointed us in the right direction to purchase a custom sectional for our living room. She even came by and looked at fabric swatches with me to help us pick which color, for no extra charge. I've texted her a few times with pictures and questions and she always responds and gives great feedback. She is super friendly, very affordable, and has been a huge help!

Very well!  In fact, we believe the staging of the home contributed to us receiving a full price offer within 24 hours of being placed on the market.

My experience with Interiors Revitalized was fantastic! Christy was very warm and engaging. I was afraid that since I had a small house and a small budget she would not want work with me. However, Christy was a really pro! She put a great deal of time and thought on how she can work with my house and my budget and still have a major impact for my taste and style.
I found Christy's company on Angie's list. I explained to her what I needed. We scheduled an appointment for her to come to my home. Although my initial contact for Christy was to do a color consultation, she was very generous with helpful ideas and suggestions to improve the look of my home. Based on her color recommendations, I painted the walls in my kitchen and great room. During that same visit, Christy also made some suggestions in changing the arrangement of my furniture. Based on her suggestions, I moved around a few pieces and LOVED THE LOOK.
Several months later, I contacted Christy again to help me make decisions on new tile flooring for the kitchen. Although I had already picked out a few samples of tiles, Christy came back to my house with samples. She explained why she was suggesting the color and style of tiles I should use. She was also kind enough to refer me to a reputable tile installer (another Angie's list company). Christy contacted the tile installer and made arrangements for me to see the recommended tile. During our very first meeting, Christy had also suggested that I paint my kitchen cabinets. I was a little apprehensive about making a drastic change to my cabinets. After she shared with me some color samples and showed me some pictures, I made the decision to go ahead and paint my kitchen cabinets. Christy provided color recommendations and she purchased and brought with her the sample hardware she recommended. Since I did not know anyone who would be able to paint my cabinets, Christy used her connections and resources to find a reputable painter (Workhorse projects-Another Angie's list company). Since Christy had a long-term relationship with this company, she was able to get my project scheduled in a timely manner. I shared with her the quote the company provided and acting on my behalf, she asked questions about the quote, which led to a lower price!!! Based on Christys recommendation, I have newly painted kitchen cabinets with new hardware. My and quot;builder gradeand quot; kitchen has now been translformed into a and quot;designerand quot; kitchen. All based on Christy's direction and guidance. I was a little apprehensive at some of her suggestions, but all of the ideas she provided I implemented and Loved! Finally, I shared with Christy that I would be hosting a party at knew I was nervous about the event. She found some inexpensive curtains and curtain rods to and quot;dress upand quot; my living area and she also used her time to arrange the dishes in my china cabinet. All of these and quot;little touchesand quot; and small changes have made a major impact on the overall look and feel of the home.
If you need help with decorating your house, I would definitely recommend Christy! I will use her again when it's time to start renovating my other rooms. It was a worthwhile investment.

We met with Christy and she was very helpful in picking out our colors. She provided a lot of insight and even helped us to match the colors throughout the house (we have 4 connected spaces we wanted to select different colors for). She was even able to recommend the types of paints and finishes that would work best. Along with the paint, Christy was able to help us find curtains for the rooms and recommend attractive styles for the different curtains, rods, etc. Everything is finished now and the place looks great! When it comes time to paint/decorate the other rooms of the house we will definitely be calling Christy!

We found Christy through Angie's List after we moved into our new home. We have a big open floor plan for the living room, dining room, and kitchen and as a result we were having trouble picking paint colors. We contacted Christy for help. We originally met with her in October thinking we needed to pick paint before chairs and a rug. Christy came out the day after we called and spent not quite an hour with us. We went over our style and what we had in mind. Christy advised that we find chairs and rug before deciding on paint. While here we talked about an accent wall for our bedroom and quickly picked a color. She did no charge us for this meeting.
We contacted Christy about a month later after we were struggling to find chairs to match a rug we liked. We asked her to help also with finding a duvet cover to match the color we had painted as an accent wall in our bedroom. Christy said she could get things done for us for about $350 and would be out the following day. We got a call the next day saying she had to finish staging a model house and wanted to reschedule us to the following day. We came that day and met with us for about an hour. We talked about the chairs we had found and where we had looked. We again went over a little about our style and what we were looking for. She took a deposit of $175 and left saying she would have some options for us in the next two days or so. We ended up having to email her a four days later after not hearing from her. It took her another two days to reply with only five chair options. We didn't like any of them and felt that she didn't really hear what we had in mind. After sending another site for us to look at we asked for just a simple brown leather chair. This back and forth process took us four days and her final email said she would get working on it the following day along with paint colors. We again waited another five days before emailing again asking why we hadn't heard from and if she was too busy to just say and we would be fine. Christy replied the following day apologizing and gave us a single suggestion on paint. Then two days after that she sent a single suggestion for a duvet from a site we told her we had already gone through and didn't like. After that we finally just told her that we were not liking what she was sending as it didn't seem to fit our style and felt she wasn't really hearing what we were looking for and didn't feel she had the time for us either. She emailed back seeming upset that we felt that way and that was it.

All of the colors turned out perfectly!! I really didn't realize how much I needed help until she started pointing out undertones in the colors I liked that I didn't notice or when she compared two that I thought looked okay but then saw that they actually clashed. I also appreciate how she pushed us a little to go outside the box with using darker colors in the kitchen and bathroom and she actually suggested drywalling a set of double doors that were just decoration on our master bedroom wall. It is something that never would have occurred to us to do but makes so much sense now. It's amazing to be able to be upstairs and not have the light from the downstairs TV come up there. We also just put up a lot of artwork and it's amazing how the colors in the pictures seem to match perfectly with the paint colors, I'm not sure how that happened, but love it! It is practically a new house now and we can't thank Christy enough for her help!! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for some decorating help!

Christie met with me at home and then at stores and sources of tile, cabinets, and furnishings. She made herself available at the last minute if a question arose with the painter or other contractor. She followed through for even the smallest details...from accessories to even casual pillows. She was a valued source of expertise and very pleasant to work with.

Christy came to my home the day after I called and stayed to view the whole house, discussed my style and what kind of look I wanted to achieve and got a good understanding of the many "projects" my decorating would include. She immediately gave me feedback on some ideas I had and within a week had come back to me with plans for the greatroom. We have gone shopping together and have selected new furniture which I am thrilled with, and Christy brought every color in the rainbow samples to my house and guided me through selecting the colors that will adorn my walls. I could NEVER have selected the beautiful coordinating array of colors by myself, yet they are exactly what I want. Christy has confirmed many of the ideas I've had and she's also,gently and expertly redirected me when the need has arisen (but, oh, so tactfully!), which has taken the stress out of making decisions. She has met with my project manager and cabinet maker to coordinate custom cabinetry she designed for the living and dining areas. Christy will do EXACTLY what I ask her to do. She gets the big picture and is helping me execute it without breaking the bank. She has already saved me quite a bit of money in furniture aquisition by suggesting new room/purpose placements for some of the furniture I had planned on getting rid of. When my new sofas were ready to be delivered in one week instead of the 10 weeks we had been told to expect them in, Christy made the arrangements with the seller to warehouse them and deliver them when I am ready for them at no extra cost to me. She charges a flat hourly fee which is VERY reasonable, so I get to decide exactly what services I want and therefore how many of them I can work into my budget. And, Christy is all about keeping you within your budget. I will be working with Interiors Revitalized not only for the completion of this enormous project, but any time in the future when I need help with decorating decisions. I highly recommend their services.

Christy was really great to work with, from our first phone call describing my needs all the way through to completion. She listened well and understood our family's need (stylish, yet functional) when making suggestions for new concept or pieces. She was prompt, detail oriented, always mindful of the budget, and professional along the way. She was a hard worker and my husband and I couldn't be more pleased with the final outcome!
