Our heat pump was not cooling properly. A routine maintenance revealed a coolant leak. Due to the age to our heat pump, we had multiple estimates for replacement. The owner of ideal conditions came out. In addition to providing us with an estimate, he also took the time to evaluate our heat pump. His estimate was a few hundred dollars less than another company for the same make and unit plus included correcting some connection ductwork. Installation was prompt. Our installers were professional and pleasant. We were impressed by his commitment to excellence. Highly recommend Ideal Conditions Heating and Air.

NOT Ideal Conditions!...Oh where to begin...My AC went out (with a 18 month old baby and pregnant wife in 3rd trimester) and I scheduled the tech first thing in the morning for a 3-6pm service on the same day. The phone representative said that would not be an issue at all servicing this appointment. The tech shows up around 11pm!!! After looking at the equipment he admitted he couldn't pinpoint the leak but he was positive it was in the coils somewhere. In addition, we needed a new capacitor. So we have a couple options...We could replace the coils at between $2k-$3k, or buy everything new for $5,500. With us leaning towards buying everything new, we decided to get a second opinion the next business day. The second company that came clearly admitted that Ideal Conditions was trying to rip us off. All that was the issue was a bad expansion valve which is front and center and impossible to miss. At the end of the day, getting a second opinion saved us thousands of dollars. NOT Ideal Conditions!!!

I was very pleased from the time Tom gave me estimate to finish. The guys that did the work were very good at explaining what they were doing and left area cleaner then when they came.

In a rental property I got a call from my tenant saying ac wasn't working and the fan want blowing. The entire unit had been replaced 5.5 years ago by a company that is no longer in business, but I was told I had a 10 year parts warranty. The tech Rasheed quickly diagnosed the issue as a burnt up fan relay board. He called it in and found out that the company who installed my unit never registered it with the manufacturer so my warranty ended at 5 years.... AWESOME! So now I was on the hook for a part that should have been under warranty. Rasheed quickly went and got the part and gave me a great price on install. Stick with a company like Ideal Conditions that has been around for years and can stand behind their work lesson learned. Highly recommend this company.

My freon was low due to a slow leak. They found the leak and repaired it. They told me because of the leak my capacitor and starter relay needed to be replaced. For 2 very cheap parts and not much time spent doing the work I thought $880.00 was very steep. Other than that service and techs were great. $240 just to change out capacitor which I found out I can get for about $50 and it took 5 minutes to change out. I'm on the fence about if to use them again or not. I've had some bad experiences with AC companies not fixing my issues and charging me so not sure I want to chance another company with bad service just to maybe get a cheaper price.

We've been incredibly happy with Ideal Conditions. They were initially referred to us by a co-worker in 2009. We'd moved into our current home and the heater was not going to make it through the winter. The house was built in 1936, and the current HVAC was at least 20 years old. Probably older. We wanted a completely new system and we wanted it fast. We called Ideal Conditions and they came out right away. In a matter of one day, they completely replaced our HVAC and sprayed more insulation in the attic. They worked incredibly late into the night to make sure everything was complete. I know we're in Florida, but that was such a brutal winter. We were so grateful to finally have heat! Their pricing was fair, and all of the guys were very professional.

Fast forward almost 5 years, we woke up one day last week to no A/C. Late July in Florida and no A/C. My husband called Ideal Conditions and they gave us a time window to come out that very morning. I couldn't believe they could fit us in so quickly. The repairman arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. A part had gone out on our Trane. It was still under warranty, so he just had to get the part from their office and install it. We had no idea where our warranty was, but he was able to find a record of it for us on their system. The instillation as done in less than an hour. (Including the time it took him to go get the part!) The house never even had time to get hot.

While he was here, we asked him lots of questions about heating/cooling systems in an old house. I'm sure he was on a tight schedule that day, but he listened patiently and gave us great advice. We're planning to call them again to have return ducts added to the bedrooms. We'd never thought about it before, but we only have one return duct in the entire house, standard practice when A/C was originally added to the house. Whenever we need anything for our HVAC system, they'll be the ones we'll call.

The work was completed on the day promised even though tropical storm Andrea was blowing through! All our questions were answered patiently and they even fixed a duct that had not been operational for 4 years. We are very satisfied with the quality of the installed equipment, the quality and clean up with the installation, and the service provided when we called for help with a minor problem. I would highly recommend Ideal Conditions Heating and Air Conditioning Service for the purchase, installation, and maintenance of your HVAC system.

John Michael was very friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with his knowledge and the whole experience.

Overall they ewere very respectful and it didnt take them long. We have a two story house and we had it on duel temperatuire so it took some time. It went went quickly and they got it done in a timely fashion.

Everything started great they came out inspected the items to remove, and started work right away, they took a lunch and then shortly after lunch we noticed one of the technicians was out by his white bronco doing what looked like touch up paint work, come to find out he was and to top it off it was the white touch up paint we had in our garage!! Finally we had to go out and ask the technician that was still working if the person playing with their bronco would be doing anymore work on the installation, then he had to make the guy stop to go up and supposidly seal our ac duct work, which after we inspected it was not touched. To finally top this all off something we noticed after they left was that the outside ac unit was installed directly over one of our sprinkler heads, apparently the technicians did not notice this, we are now on our 3rd call to have them come out to move the unit back to where it was, they still havent come out.

I had a coupon for a free service call, he knew right away what the problem was, and replaced the part. He then came inside my house and quoted me $1000.00/per handler to put surge protectors on them. Which I declined.Then he handed the bill for $220.00. The part cost $20.00, I went and bought two more from another dealer. The BBB is involved with this matter.
