They were very good at installing the GFCI plugs though one is not working in the kitchen. But Ken Howard was very vague about why the AC was not working. He did state in an email before he arrived that the AC company put the wrong motor in and put a single speed motor in the air handler vs a variable speed motor and the single speed motor requires more power which is why the breakers were tripping. And conclusively the single speed motor also tripped the breakers many times and finally tripped the breaker for the heat pump outside the other component of the AC system and shorted it out.. So basically the wrong motor shorted out my whole system which Ken Howard explained in choppy language, more like shop talk between electricians and not in layman's language which the average person could understand, which I thought was unprofessional.

Initial guys on the job said they couldn't do it, but main office was very responsive and they sent another guy out, and he helped the other guys get the job done pretty easily. I definitely appreciate when a main office can step up like this and not simply let guys walk away. They got it done!

I have used Howard twice and both times it was a good experience. They are very good and know what they are doing. The owner is office person and he supervises work, so I find email is the best method to contact. If I send him an email, he will normally respond when he gets back to the office or the next day.

Perfectly. Sean, the electrician was professional, polite, efficient, and effective. When one of the fans proved compromised out of the box, he took the initiative to a arrange with his company to get a replacement and still managed to get it installed within the original time frame. I seldom experience such excellent service these days. Sean, and by reflection Howard Electrical Services, are absolutely top notch. I recommend them without hesitation.

Went okay, but forgot to finish out the porch light, which still doesn't work. I've called twice, left a message and he returned my call. Said he'd contact me about the porch light, he was right in the middle of another job. He never called me back, and frankly, I'm frustrated having to keep calling him to remind him to fix the porch light. At this point, he's not called me back and it's been over two months. It's a shame because he was able to diagnose a pretty tricky problem, but it's his lack of follow-up that I have an issue with.

I'm blown away by the fantastic service. I was trying to get ready for Hurricane Matthew and needed a generator outlet installed. Called and got a call back immediately. Ken was great to work with, installed the outlet while I had to head out of town. I was extremely worried about the hurricane and Ken's was so helpful that I knew we'd have what we needed when the storm hit. He even checked our old cable and suggested that we buy a new one, stayed on the phone with my wife to make sure the right one was ordered. I can't say thank you enough. This is why you deal with highly reputable local companies, they go the extra mile. Highly recommend them without reservation.

Howard Electric did a great job. They did the work timely and were very reasonable with their charges. I will definitely call them again for any electrical for I need in the future. The owner even went back to his shop and got a exhaust fan motor to replace the broken one. He had in his shop and did not charge for this motor. This saved drywall work as well as I was able to return the new exhaust fan I bought at Lowe's. So really saved me a lot of money on repair.

We hired them to do the final breaker connections of a couple new circuits which took only a few minutes. Instead of taking the minimum 1 hour fee and leaving they asked if there was anything else we wanted them to look at to fill the hour. They were able to troubleshoot a few small issues inside the house and answer some of our do-it-yourself questions. Very professional and easy to work with. On time and knowledgable in their field. All around top-notch electricians.
