It was just awful. The AC, one that they installed 8 years ago, failed in late July. It finally took them THREE WEEKS to fix it! When we tried to contact them about the myriad delays, we were treated very poorly: everything from being given the runaround, ignored, misled about appointments and part availability, and being treated VERY rudely via phone when we called the shop. Our house got so hot that I ended up in the ER for dehydration. We're 100% baffled because before this, we'd successfully done business with them for ten years with very no trouble at all. But we hardly even recognize this business anymore: it's a complete 180. After our warranty is up, we will be very reluctant to go with them again. Maybe never. The only reason we give 2 stars is because the last 2 technicians who finally fixed it were wonderful & very respectful men.

It was easy to set up the time. I am a landlord and they knew how to accommodate having me pay but scheduling things with the tenant, which is surprisingly not common among companies. They offered to have a card on file for this specific incident and allow it to just pay if it was below a certain amount. If it was over that amount, they would call. As promised, they called because it was over. That transaction was smooth. The tenant said they were professional and on time. Thank you, Hammond!

I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of Clayton(My tech for this service call). He called and came 2 hours earlier than my expected time. Went over all options with me without the pressure pitch. Just his overall demeanor and professionalism was on display. Gave me my quotes and followed up with me hours later to make sure I could secure a spot for a next day install. An added bonus of topping off my coolant level so the house wouldn't be hot while I mulled my decision. Will be using this company again for all my A/C needs! Thanks again Clayton!...Side note: He wore a mask from start to finish also! Outstanding professionalism!

Everything went smoothly. They arrived on time and installed the entire system in about 4-5 hours. The new unit is very quiet.

Dave, Ron, Jim, and Steve did a great job. They arrived on time, removed old unit, installed new Bryant Heat Pump and did the duct cleaning at the same time. System works great!. Also spoke to Nancy in the office about my payment and she was great.

It was excellent. They came out the same day. They did not try and pressure me to spend additional money. The price ended up about $50 less than the original quote. The technicians were super nice and spent time making sure everything was perfect before they left. It was perfect service.

Don't believe that condensation drain lines were checked and cleared as one has clogged already - only 6 weeks after our service.

Unit found to have restricted air flow due to defective part. Repair restored function of unit and part was ordered. When part arrived they contacted me set up a date and time to return and install the part. Jeff and Steve were great. It's refeshing to find a company that's honest and not trying to take advantage of people. My previous AC company had suggested that I replace my unit which is only 7 years old. Will definitely recommend Hammond AC to all my friends and family.

Purchased emergency service. Tech was here within 24 hrs. Very professional and quickly diagnosed the problem. Came the next day and repaired. Fan motor needed to be replaced. Still under warranty, cost $162.00 to replace (plus $64 emergency service cost) I would use this service again.

We bought the air conditioner from them and they do a great job. I had seen something underneath the air conditioning that looked like it might be oil of some kind and I called them out to check it for me. He said what had happened was there some liquid there that was moldy. It wasn't oil. He checked it for me and said that it was fine. There was no charge. Pricing, I guess I can't beat it since he didn't charge me. Responsiveness, he came right out as soon as I called.

Our AC went out over the holiday weekend. Contacted Hammond for a quote to replace the entire system Tuesday morning. They were onsite Tuesday late afternoon to access replacement. Received quote with the multiple options discussed at onsite meeting that night via email. They were able to put us on the schedule for the next day. By Wednesday night we had a brand new working AC. Guys who did the install did a great job. The owner came by as well towards the end of the install to check things out because he happens to live near me. Great guy and makes sure things get done right. Going forward they will always be the first I recommend if any one asks me. Had a great experience with them.

Fan motor not working and had some repairs done earlier this year. 10 year old system and needed a new UV light for the air handler. Time for a new unit. Jeff explained everything to me and walked me through the process as well as what my options for payment were available. I found this company years ago on Angie's list and have never been disappointed. Thank you.

Overall the experience was good, but the pricing was on the high side. Somewhat pressured because my unit was not running just seems like I didn't get a good value on pricing
