Grass Hogs

I've been using their service since last October. I don't have to worry about the lawn. They are okay and their employees are good.

They always show up on time and provide excellent service. The trim the bushes, edge, mow and blow all of the clippings off. They are excellent and the prices are reasonable, but they provide better service than most of the companies I tried before.

They show up around the same time every week. We both live in the same neighborhood. Occasionally there will be a no show week with no explanation or reduction in the bill with one exception and then for $16.00 which did not equal 25% of the bill. I've found speaking with the owner to get an explanation to be a rather caustic and futile endeavor. The quality of the work suffers once you become a regular customer though it is still acceptable. Last year he instituted a $6.00 fuel surcharge per month. I found this to be rather petty as he lives a block away and surely it does not take 2 gallons of gas to mow my very small lawn which takes all of 10 minutes to mow. Maybe it's the edger that's the real gas hog :)I suppose my biggest complaint is his attitude towards his customers. If you call to question his "new" math or any other concern, you inevitably will be the only person who has ever had a problem and the conversation will become somewhat confrontational and incoherent.
